The Greatest? I have other words in my mind for this video. Come on! Do you know how scary it is to jump at one height and then land lower/higher than the original height? It's like misjudging how low a stair step is and trying to step on it but take a tumble when it's lower than you thought. It takes you by surprise. These horses might know that the other side of the jump is lower/higher but they don't know by how much. It's still very hard on them. Now add murky water water and steep hills into the mix. The horses can't see through the water so they have no idea how deep it is. That must be really scary for them. And forcing them to jump onto a steep hill that they have to canter/gallop down is very cruel. Try running down a steep hill with someone on you're back. And they have to gallop through knee-deep water AND get enough momentum to jump WITH a rider on their back that pulls back on the reins (which will force the horse to pull it's head back) everytime they try to land without losing their balance. Not to mention that over half of these clips have horses that are foaming at the mouth, meaning that they are already in enough pain caused by the bits as it is.

Martina Baiano Why? Because I know cruelty when I see it? Because people shouldn't stand ups for animals who are suffering? Because I'm trying to get people to do the same? You can't just tell someone to shut up for no reason. If I hit a nerve while making a point than I apologize for you getting butthurt. At least I can feel good knowing that I try to make a difference instead of telling people who are only trying to speak up about animal cruelty to "shut up".

Actually, horses were never meant to run and jump so often. It's really hard on their feet and back. Especially when you add all the extra obstacles like hills and water to the mix. A little jumping course is fine, but when you're forcing your horse to run and jump for so long it's really bad for them.
