The FFL Homeowner Series features research and Extension from the University of Florida. It provides science-based information from UF/IFAS experts to help your Florida landscape thrive while caring for the environment. This session covers the history of horticultural therapy and two horticultural therapy programs.
Leah Diehl presents "Horticultural Therapy 101: History, Definitions, and Examples." She is the Director of Therapeutic Horticulture at Wilmot Botanical Gardens and is also a lecturer in the Environmental Horticulture Department at the University of Florida. Leah is a licensed landscape architect, a Master Gardener, and a registered horticultural therapist.
