I just purchased this from PW website, because the color was very attractive to me. I Don’t no nothing about this honeysuckle other than it is very attractive. I expected to be delivered today. I can’t wait to get this in the ground on a trellis! This video is right on time for me.

I just bought this plant. The first time it was mailed, it was basically dead-no leaves. I sent PW a picture, and they resent a beautiful one. I saw it at the Grow for Me Gardening (5b) garden tour and wanted one so badly. It's a beautiful plant, and PW offers the best customer service. I know a lot of people don't like patent plants, but PW does an excellent job of creating great plants.

I have major wheeler. It does the same thing but the end leaves are green with orange berries. It’s a nice looking vine all season. I planted it to attract hummingbirds. It worked. Not sure if this ghost one would do the same. I replaced the highly invasive trumpet madam Galen’s with honeysuckle which is what major wheeler is. Madam Galen’s is beautiful but requires constant maintenance to control. This ghost honeysuckle and major wheeler are terrific replacements. Thank you😊

That's fantastic! And Kintzley's Ghost does indeed attract hummingbirds, this video was taken right outside of our office this year! 🤗 kzbin.infoEiKeCUfMGTA

If planted in a large tower obelisk, would it pair well with a a clematis? Or other recommendations to pair with?
@pwcolorchoice3 ай бұрын
I would not recommend a standard decorative obelisk for Kintzley's Ghost because it is a woody twining vine that needs a sturdy support. As it matures, it will become quite heavy and most obelisks would not be strong enough to support it. That said, you could definitely pair it with a clematis on a sturdier/more permanent structure.

I ordered this and put it on a thick 7 foot post bordering a 6 ft fence. Did not rrealize it did not like humidity. What can I expect here in MS?
@pwcolorchoice3 ай бұрын
The plant should do fine in MS, as long as you are no hotter than USDA zone 8. Most likely what you will experience is that the bracts don't become as white as you see in this video, they will probably stay more blue. And watch out for powdery mildew - while this is resistant, the humidity may exacerbate it.
