As a general rule, as a Horus pilot: 1.If you're playing the engine with something else, check to see if the field spell is worth playing or not, or if there's one at all. If it is, go 1 Wall, 3 Sarc. If not, reverse that. Given Walls acts as a Sarc while on field, you can trim down the engine for other stuff. 2. A particularly fun Rank 8 I personally use is Aegeion, the Sea Castrum. Once on either turn you can banish a random Extra Deck card from your opponent and it'll gain it's Atk for that turn. Make him on your turn and assuming your opponent can't stop his effect, and by the time their turn fully hits you've stolen two cards from them. But even better? You can detach a material to send one of your opponent's banished ED monsters back to take out any matching ones on field. Link takes out link for example.

Canopic protector sets itself when sent from hand to gy which is the way horus engine works. That interaction used with Imsety gets you the discard set on field and still gets you the draw effect it way more useful than you made it seem

When I saw these cards in Master Duel, I immediately thought of two different decks that can pair with them perfectly The first one is with the Egyptian Gods, more specifically with The Winged Dragon Ra. If you have King’s Sarcophagus and Ancient Chant in your hand by adding them or simply having them in your hand at the start of the duel, it will be game over for your opponent The second one is a bit iffy at best: with the Branded. Cause most of Albaz’s fusions have some of the requirements that the Horus archetype has: Dragon & Beast-Warrior-types, Special Summoned this turn, monsters with 2500+ attack points, and a Dark attribute. Like that is perfect

Horus and Egyptian gods are fun and can actually work, theres onlu certain decks that make it difficult. My horus Egyptian god decks focuses on putting all 4 horus monster on the field first, no extra deck unless mid-duel and really need it. Horus makes a decent stun deck, and 4 bodies for gods. If anyone wants a full strategy and deck build let me know

I love this engine... it was the second full engine I built in master duel and I have it IRL now too, both with purrely. It's oppressive in the right matches, but I've had a fair share of losses as well.

honestly i love horus, sure it has stun applications but it lets you do a lot of silly things like easily getting 3 tributes for god cards or just leave all 4 of them on field and go +5 when your opponent removes one

Horus engine is a blessing for Vampire archetype It can pitch the low level from hand and turning them from brick into online without relying on normal summon (Vamp ghost, Gozuki, etc) They can easily summon their Xyz boss Vampire Zombie for free dump+revive With Zombie World active they can even be a free draw for the archetype via their Link-2, and become material for either their Link-3 or their boss monster Voivode Thank God i got 3 Imsety when chasing for Mementotlan in MD (yet the only Memento card i got were mostly just 1-of)

If you're referring to Duel Logs videos, they have way more effort put into them than the vast majority of Yugitube videos. They're filled with edits. Most Yugitubers mainly do vlogs, clip their Twitch streams, or do short sketches. The typical Duel Logs video, even the top 10s, are far higher quality. If you're referring to the Horus cards... come on, the Horus archetype is very dominant, and extremely splashable. They're very good cards that work well together.

i tested it yesterday when i tryed a horus dogmatika version black flame works well with toybox if you have fieldspell you can get rid of bouth set cards to get there effekts and draw 1 if you have horus fieldspell and the trap is nice to play into removal you can force a hrous effect like hapy this way or mascarena into little knight (apo befor but oh well)

I try to use the Horus cards in a Therion-ish deck in Master Duel, but RNG hates me. It's cracked when it works, since King Regulus can make Nibiru a non-issue. Facing Horus is annoying, partly because they can get lethal on board in under five summons. It's amazing how I never run into Horus decks when I play Kashtira, but they're everywhere when I don't.

Yeah, they are INCREDIBLY matchup dependent, sky striker eats them for breakfast even with all the stun stuff up, but they can make other decks instantly fold, think very board and monster heavy decks that can easily get outgrinded with the swarm of stats.

The Horus cards pair pretty well with the Danger! archetype. Discarding the danger cards will activate their effects while also getting a horus monster in the grave, or you can potentially send a horus monster to the grave with their effect as well.
