Nice to see people trying to make Horus decks in MD. I've been testing Horus decks combined with other cards such as Hieratic, Hazy Flame and even Gunkan.
@dragngaming83652 жыл бұрын
Absolutely I love the card and you auto win against some matchups like Sky Striker. It can be hard to play through especially if they have extra negates like this board.
@maestradebobobo7672 жыл бұрын
@@dragngaming8365 What I love about Horus is that nobody seems to read what it does. This may have happened to you too: the turn after you manage to summon Horus, the opponent starts spamming Spell cards and then they quit. I think that happens because MD players are used to the "1 negate per turn" thing and assume that Horus works the same way haha
@dragngaming83652 жыл бұрын
@@maestradebobobo767 absolutely, they dont read it, so they will throw out 1 spell to "bait" the negate and then swing in their raigeki to just have it negated as well. I usually negate 2 spells and that's the end of the turn lol. They don't go further than that.
@maestradebobobo7672 жыл бұрын
@@dragngaming8365 I once negated 3 ritual summon spell cards from a Herald player in a turn. Unfortunately I don't have that duel recorded, but... Imagine playing a Herald deck and having all your spell cards negated.
@dragngaming83652 жыл бұрын
@@maestradebobobo767 I usually never go first against them lol and when I do I usually use Dragunity and special summon Koa'ki meiru dragon and just stop them from playing the game altogether. Works against eldlich too, so I make their game terrible in different ways.

Horus is basically a infinite spell negate with no cost.

How good is it
@ContextG Жыл бұрын
@Skadi Lawrence Droplet wouldn't be able to touch em because lvl 6 is unaffected by spellcards and level 8 just straight up negates them. you can't even attempt to do it on the summon.
@hailpolilla6578 Жыл бұрын
@@YohananYGO Welp, basically there was a period of time where most decks had spell cards to defend, rarely used trap cards in the backrow, so yeah, pretty much broken if you were against Horus and you were using Sky Striker

Branded horus sounds good

Dragunity Amorphage is the preferred method. Only loses to kaiju really, lmao.

I'm assuming if you don't draw Level Up, you go into the regular Crystal Wing/Borreload Savage/Areadbhair board?
@dragngaming83652 жыл бұрын
You got it. Horus is basically just a monster version of imperial order you still basically have to hard draw. So crystal, borreload, aread, and seals is still my typical end board. Along with generally floating into koa'ki dragon since most decks in plat are light/dark based
@dragngaming83652 жыл бұрын
Just tested it, but if you run this same setup but remove horus for majestic dragon, you can actually turbo out the new level 11 synchro with this same board. So if you want to tech add anything, you need samsara, but for the basic combo you can go without him.
@MansMan420692 жыл бұрын
@@dragngaming8365 Yooo that's pretty nice. A recurring Effect negate that's like the DPE or REDD for Dragunity.
@dragngaming83652 жыл бұрын
@@MansMan42069 I made a video with it, I'm sure I can pump out more summons, but you can get super majestic pretty consistently. Along with having your other negates as well. It might be more useful for the TCG but for Master duel it is just more unnecessary garnets lol. I think it fits better in a 60 card pile deck though. Probably with a small dragonmaid engine on it
It is in a different video. These are uploaded from my playstation without editing for the time being, so it was a separate upload with another variant included.

@@dragngaming8365 thanks man ! Lots of urs and srs but I been looking to throw in Horus on a deck and this looks op!
@dragngaming83652 жыл бұрын
@@senzuthekai It actually doesn't take much to get the core together for the deck. Majority of the cards you can get in 3 packs of dragunity pulls, which i have done on other accounts, but its the extenders that will stretch you out on SRs and URs. Besides Horus himself which for some reason is massively expensive. But he is a walking floodgate. I hope you enjoy testing it, practice the combo against CPUs to get the hang of the flow before taking to the ladder. Don't want to mess up the combo.

This is a "Non-Game", how people can still have fun to this?
@dragngaming83652 жыл бұрын
What do you mean by "non-game?" Because my opponent wasn't able to break it? Well for this particular setup, it is so easy to break on top of having to open like 3 perfect cards, that it is more often I'll lose than win. Plus it isn't that hard to break it if you have forbidden droplet or dark ruler no more. It is a strong board for sure

@@dragngaming8365 I think the frustrating aspect is that one player can (obviously with the right drawn cards and a well thought out deck) can have a 100 card combo go on, and unless your opponent knows where and when to counter (if they have a counter in their hand, or even the right counter available in their deck) the opponent will quickly find themselves in a no chance situation. Many players such as myself, find fascination with how strong some decks can be made, and even create a very complicated and creative 100 card combo deck. But still long for a time when two players still had a chance to actually 'battle', a back and forth brawl where the next draw can buy you another turn, or completely turn the tables, or you draw the wrong card and it loses you the game. But now there's a more than fair chance you'll be playing against someone who can literally win the first turn and either due to a poor hand, or a poor deck (due to lack of experience, or other reasons) don't even get a chance to play. Where as before your opponent may get a strong start but you were at least guaranteed a turn within 7 cards being played and vice versa. That's where a lot of frustration (at least for me) comes in.
@dragngaming8365 Жыл бұрын
@@Shadoweye12 The current pace of yugioh can be very frustrating. This combo is really a "farmed" setup because most hands cant do this at all. Everything lined up perfectly for this. This isn't something you would see on average and is very fragile to anything that disrupts. I get the frustration though, because most duels now are over within 3 turns. Sometimes you simply won't have the out and other duels your opponent will have everything. Just how the game rolls at this point. I am more frustratd with Maxx C than anything else because that card just ruins duels. Winning with it doesn't feel satisfying cause there was no strategy and losing to it just feels lame cause you just pass and get killed. Master Duel is in a very hostile state right now where trying to prepare for anything is extremely difficult because you could face just about anything. HOwever, most duels are not like this one and most players don't do combos like the one I demonstrated because it isn't consistent and it is very time consuming and extremely lucky compared to most decks. I don't find this particular deck to be frustrating when you compare it to Tearalament who play on your turn or Floowandereeze who just can lock you out forever.
