Dr. Jay has done brilliant work and shows true compassion for of humanity. What I did not agree with was the two verses he used in (Gen. 3:8-9). There is only one true version that is the true Word of God. For example- there are 43 modern bible versions like what the ERV started: It was the first major English Bible to destroy “the mystery of godliness “ in 1 Tim. 3:16 by removing “GOD” at the right time spot. The real Bible states that “God was manifest in the flesh.” But the Alexandrian and Roman Catholic Bibles removed God and say “who was manifested in the flesh.” By removing one word they removed the Godhood of Christ out of the verse. The ERV was the first major English Bible to remove 1 Jn. 5:7, taking away the Godhead. By removing those words, they removed the unity of the Father, the Word (the Lord Jesus Christ) and the Holy Ghost as one God. The ERV was the first major English Bible to remove the whole verse (Acts 8:37) the only verse that says one must believe before one can be baptised. The ERV sneakily changed (2 atim. 3:16) from the clear and understandable “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable ….” to “Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable ….” What did the Revisers mean by that ? Only those scriptures they accepted as “inspired” were profitable. They saw all the rest, like the Kings, Chronicles, other historical writings and even the Prophets, as written by “good men”, but not inspired by God. ERV = English Revised Version (1881, 85, Westcott and Hort). Today we are living in the midst of an unprecedented movement of Bible-doubters. Satan keeps trying his hardest to destroy faith in the Bible in the hearts of Christian people. And he finally found a strategy that worked. How does he do this ? By pretending there’s something wrong with the Bible every time they don’t understand a Bible verse. Check your Bible now to see if you are missing whole verses: (Mat. 17:21; 18:11; 21:44; 23:14; Mk. 7:16; 9:44; 9:46; 11:26; 15:28; 16:9-20; Lk. 22:43; 22:44; 23:17; 24:12; 24:40; Jn. 5:4; 7:53 through to 8:11; Acts 8:37) Strange, 257 verses missing. The issue concerning any church and its practices should be “Is this biblical?” If a teaching is Biblical (taken in context), it should be embraced. If it is not, it should be rejected. Mary: The Roman Catholic Church teaches, among other things, that Mary is the Queen of Heaven, a perpetual virgin, and the co-redemptress who ascended into heaven. In Scripture, she is portrayed as an obedient, believing servant of God, who became the mother of Jesus. None of the other attributes mentioned by the Roman Catholic Church have any basis in the Bible. The idea of Mary being the co-redemptress and another mediator between God and man is not only extra-biblical (found only outside of Scripture), but is also unbiblical (contrary to Scripture).
