For most Christians and potential converts the most difficult part is understanding the Holy Trinity. For their benefit here's a simple explanation. God the Father is the Speaker, the Son (Jesus) is the Word spoken, and the breath of the Speaker is the Holy Spirit. Now, imagine this. Can a Speaker make a speech without the Word and the breath? It's impossible. These three are the inseparable parts of the Holy Trinity, the triune God of Christianity. However, this is not to be confused as polytheism. Rather, the Holy Trinity is about the oneness of God. They are consubstantial, i.e, they share the same substance. It's this Trinitarian God that's invoked when Christians do the sign of the cross. I highly recommend the KZbin channel 'Breaking in the Habit' for a better understanding of Christian theology.

This is not it either. Its easiest to explain with something the muslim can see. We are created in Gods image, Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. You are a body, soul and spirit. 3 in 1 made in the image of God. This is how the Zadok priests of the order of Levi in old testament taught it before the Pharisee's murdered and exiled them in jewish civil wars. Have a look at the commentaries on Genesis from the dead sea scrolls and its clear explanations of the doctrine they taught. It will 100% agree with the New Testament unlike rabbinic or pharisee judaism.

Jay conflated teaching Mary is the mother of God and Mary as part of the Trinity. He said, "do you know of anybody in California that teaches that Mary is the Mother of God, please say no... we do not preach Mary as part of the Trinity..." Mary is NOT part of the Trinity. Mary IS the Mother of God. Luke 1:43-45 "But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. 45 Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!” Elizabeth was referring, almost verbatim, to a text from 2 Samuel 6:9, wherein David exclaims concerning the Old Testament Ark of the Covenant: “And David was afraid of the Lord that day; and he said, ‘How can the ark of the Lord come to me?’” When Elizabeth “exclaimed with a loud cry . . . why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me” (Luke 1:42-43), Mary was revealed to be the Ark of the New Covenant. Mary is the Mother of God precisely because Jesus Christ, her son, is God. And when Mary gave birth, she did not give birth to a nature, or even two natures; she gave birth to ONE divine person. To deny this essential truth of the Faith, as the Council of Ephesus (431) declared, is to cut yourself off from full communion with Christ and his Church. The first of many “anathemas” that would be accepted by the council decreed, “If anyone does not confess that God is truly Emmanuel, and that on this account the Holy Virgin is the Mother of God (for according to the flesh she gave birth to the Word of God become flesh by birth), let him be anathema.” Notice the council refers to the prophecy of Isaiah 7:14 in its definition. This text prophesied over 700 years before the birth of Christ that the Messiah was to be born of a woman, yet he was to be “God with us.” The real problem with denying Mary as Mother of God and affirming Mary to be only the mother of the man Christ Jesus is that in doing so, you either deny the divinity of Christ (as the fourth-century Arians did) or create TWO PERSONS with regard to Jesus Christ. Both errors result in heresy. The Councils of Ephesus and Chalcedon (433) dealt with a heresy called Nestorianism. Rather than teaching the truth that Christ is one divine person with two natures, one fully human and one fully divine, it taught that Christ is two persons with a merely moral union. The council fathers understood that Christians could never affirm this. The Bible declares to us, “In him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily” (Col. 2:9). And “in him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible” (Col. 1:16). Nowhere do we read in them; we read only of him. The error proposes essentially different Christs. Jesus is truly ONE divine person. If one prays to a Jesus who is two persons, one prays to a “Jesus” who does not exist!

God is our creator, and our heavenly father. The son is God made flesh In human form as Jesus Christ. The holy spirit is the spirit of God that dwells within us his children. Besides that's the Old Covenant and for a very specific context and time. Under the New Covenant of Christ we are told to love our neighbors as ourselves, care for women, and love our wives the way Christ loved us having died for us. I hope this was helpful

This Heptadic structure as he calls it is found in NO OTHER LITERARY WORK. Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Because if you want other ppl to do justice to your scripture do justice to theirs as well so that your invition went smoothly , fruitful and wisdom . WHY ONLY GENIUS ACCEPT/NOT REJECT ISLAM? 1. We are among the best/genius students from all over the world, in a biology class with students from various religious and atheist backgrounds at a Moscow university discussing embryos and the progress to becoming perfect babies/humans. 2. We found that in the history of the human world, it was identified by modern scientists in 1827 after the invention of the microscope, x-ray equipment, ultrasound etc. and classified as quantitative items (can be measured by humans), no longer qualitative items/things that cannot be seen (cannot be measured by humans/doctors) in the view of medical experts and medical dictionaries of this world. It is an achievement in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics). And it's just a normal development for us. Time 26:22- the word you're referring to is mutawafik which in arabic means to die but also means to take- pick up any arabic dictionary to prove this its a joke that jay doesn't know that- God here is saying he will "take jesus up" - alive not dead. Arabic words have many meanings its much more complex than english. I've never ever seen a quran translation translate it as "sleep." Time 32:32- he quotes 3:54 as God being deceitful but Allah is just saying that as the enemies of islam plotted to kill the prophet God set up a plot against them (doesn't say Deceitful) as well and that He is the best of plotters- yes of course God is in control all the time and He will cause the eventual failure of those who try to kill His messengers- I don't see what Jay's point is here-the other verses he quotes is saying the same thing. minute 36- we say Quran was coeternal meaning that its the word of God and the word of God is always known to Him therefore was always part of his knowledge no one says the actual written Quran is competing with God that's ridiculous. Time 37:40- NOWHERE in Quran does it say kill those who apostate, verse 4:89 is referring to those who fight the muslims in battle-just read the very next verse for God's sake which explains that clearly! Time 41:25- in those days there were no "dots" or tashkeel which is how everyone reads arabic today- it was just lines so it was actually super hard to read that form of arabic script even arabs today have trouble reading that form of arabic script. Time 45:42 of all the ridiculous claims this has to be the dumbest thus far - most arabs couldnt read jay and plus you dont need written script in order for there to be different dialects- the tashkeel were placed to help with pronunciations with the Qurayshi dialect which is what the prophet spoke- but it doesn't mean that there cannot be different pronunciations. Time 46:36- now you're just flat out lying we have Quranic manuscripts dated from the time of the prophet himself look up Birmingham manuscript. Time 47:10- yes when uthman put diacritical marks on the arabic this became the best standard Quran at the time so he got rid of all other manuscripts which were all just fragments written by students so that there would be no confusion, and this is the same manuscript we read to this day so yes God had preserved it for us, I don't get what your problem with this is. Also a christian should be the LAST person talking about manuscript reliability. If Jay says carbon dating is not reliable then how else would he expect us to date manuscripts? Time 59:32 yes those manuscripts had some slight differences in words but this again proves my earlier point about why uthman (companion of the prophet) had to make one official standard quran which is the same one we read to this day- the ones he didn't destroy were hidden by students and found now. Time 1:00:43- I don't know what the hell he is talking about here- go to any part of the world every quran is the same we don't have "different qurans" floating around jay. The Quran only has about 77,000 words jay so how could there be 60,000 differences as you claim? Please stop lying. For example ar-Rahim does not mean merciful, it means most merciful etc. Allah's names are like most merciful, most kind, most powerful like that way unlike human. No humans can be extremely merciful, extremely kind or most powerful, men have limitations, that Allah have not.

His speech is subpar and he's fabricating stuff, either from ignorance, or intentionally. The god of the Mohammedan was created by Mohammed. The Koran is a perversion of Christianity. The created god, just like Mohammed, demands absolute loyalty. In fact, Allah is a creation of Muhammed and is therefore Mohammed is Allah. In order to understand this one has to study the life of this prophet. His rise to power and the absolute loyalty he demanded using cruelty and death to enforce it. The quran is so easy to understand that you have to learn a whole new language, study thousands of accompanying hadiths, find and follow scholars that mirror your interpretation, and if any contradiction is found or not understood fully then Inshallah, Allah knows best.

If a muslim hears you been learning from Jay Smith they wont even bother with you because you are ignorant. Jay Smith has claimed to not even know arabic yet tries to judge the authenticity of the quran, recitation and exegisis of verses. Its embarrasing work. Wanna learn about islam. Learn from actual scholars like Dr. Yasir Qadhi who earned a degree in theology in Medina, or Assim Al Hakeem, or Omar Suleiman

He has said that he can read and write Arabic. I understand what you mean though. I want to read the Quran myself. But to know all the words an arabic word could mean. It seems like it would be difficult to do this. But isn't the history Jay learned correct? His timelines of when the Quran was written. Muhammad didn't write it down, correct? Were verses added as Muhammad was living? Or was he taught the Quran from the angel all at once?

I feel bad for the christians who dont know better and think he is right and that islam is this big lie and they feel good about themselves and their religion. This is not how you keep your audience. If christianity is the truth, there is no reason to use those cheap tactics to lie to your followers. Also Jay has been debunked many times by alot of islamic scholars but also by muslim laymen debaters. Jay had even gone to the route of arguing that Muhammad himself didn't exist which is literally baffling, coming form someone who wants to consider himself an intellectual. If he denies all the historical records of Muhammmad then he might as well throw all the past prophets in the bin because they dont even come close to the level of historical records. Its simply disappointing for him and his followers. Also, no, the Quran was not written when Muhammad died. The Quran was written as soon as Muhammad received revelation and he even had a personal scribe called Zayd ibn Thabit who would get notified when by Muhammad when he received revelation to write it down. He would visit the prophet constantly he also became a full hafiz (memoriser) + knowing the proper recitation and pronouncation of the Quran as he had the prophet himself teaching him. Also you have to consider that Muhammad built this memorising culture from the beginning as every muslim has to memorise a chapter of the Quran to recite in his prayers. Technically speaking a child Muslim has to know at least 3 chapters to do a proper prayer, let alone a grown up which the companions of the prophet were full hafiz and continued the legacy. Jay doesn't graps this aspect of the history. In cases when this was pointed out to him, he doesnt want to accept it and said that no it wasnt preserved bla bla bla. The Quran was revealed at a period of 23 years. Sometimes he would received a whole chapter, sometimes a few verses depending on the occasion. I suggest you read the Quran and you will realise that the Quran is blunt and straight to the point and calls out the disbelievers. For example there will be a case of a christian,jew or atheist challenging Muhammad. He would wait for revelation, sometimes it would come immediately and he would start reciting exactly as angel Gabriel told him to for the response and they submitted and converted to the religion as they couldnt argue back. Muhammad didn't write down the Quran and that is why its part of the miracle. Quran is meant to be a literaly masterpiece, shaping the history of literature and poetry in the arab world till the day of judgement. Modern arabic is built upon the Quran and every poet or writer reads the Quran for inspiration and certain wordplays to use in their scripture. There is a big history behind this you can go and study for yourself, the rabbit hole of the Quran's aspects is pretty deep. So the fact that this revelation came from someone who couldn't read or write, also be observed to recite on the spot when he received revelation would be easy for the people to submit and become muslim as they recognised the miracle. This was the case for pagan poets who were baffled by the eloquence of the Quran. Personally i suggest you read the quran through youtube videos that have the arabic recitation going with subtitles for you to read. That way you can grasp why the Quran is so beautiful and poetic, as reading it in plain english u will never realise that aspect of the Quran. Certainly Jay is ignorant of these facts. Good luck.
