Blue Air is from South Korea I think. 🤔. They do look exactly like a Hoshizaki. I hope you plan to make a video!

Usually on larger systems I will use the recovery machine to push in the charge. Save alot of time. 👌

I’ve heard of this trick but I haven’t tried it yet.

Question , couldnt you zip tie around1 of the 4 plates where it is separating and plug the water spray to JUST that area where the zip tie is ? Wouldnt zip tying it bring plates back closer to the lines so they could freeze and thaw normally ? To me this would be a cheap easier fix if the plate was seperated in just one spot ?
@IceMachine4113 күн бұрын
You make a really good point. If the machine makes ice and is safe then I guess any fix is a good fix. The way I currently repair ice machines is based off of the manufacturers recommendations.

What causes this ? i have a hoshizaki 900 scalloped ice machine , and the plates done this ,it is only 3 years old . I had a icomatic 500lb i never did anything but clean it , i got rid of it because the ice clogged my fountain drink machine , and i needed a little more capacity .
@IceMachine4115 ай бұрын
The welds slowly break over time through the freeze/thaw process. Every once in a while you can just get a bad machine. Hoshizaki covers repairs under warranty for up to three years. You can also get the part only up to 5 years. I’d contact hoshizaki tech support and see what they can do for you.

Nice video! Did you put magnets on solenoids for recovery/purging?
@IceMachine41111 ай бұрын
Pretty sure.
@LC-qi5ff11 ай бұрын
If you recover from both low and high sides then solenoid isn’t necessary, no?
@bensreferigeration11 ай бұрын
Probably not necessary for recovery, but to flow thru dryer while brazing I think you have to, or cut nitro off and shit and get.
