Hosim X07 Part 4 Does it RIP it or HELL NO

Out the box mine wasn't completely assembled. I had to hook up half the steering linkage. Then I drove it over a garden hose and it blew out the front differential gear. Got a new one put it in. I turned it on it went about three feet and the motor smoked. Got annoyed and sent Hosim a email they sent out all the replacement parts got them like a day or two. Put it all back together it ran great drove it around the yard it was great. Took it out to the mailbox and jumped it off the 4 inch curb, it landed on the rear tires and pop blew the front differential gear. It was doing that clicking like in this video I drove it back to the house and the servo went out. Sent Hosim another email with a video we shall see what the verdict is. Even with all that I would still buy this car again. My Deerc 9206e been a beast straight out the box. It is not a fast car but it sure delivers in the good fun catagory.

This car has some potential. I think i like that new motor alot more. Hope they watch this and release an updated version. They'll have a pretty solid truck

I believe it's the tires too tho. I have one similar and the tires just suck they almost act like plastic drift wheels. I know ur reviewing it how they come outta the box tho. But a change of wheels will make it somewhat more controlled than those that come on it.

Sounds like a diff. My XLF X03 sounded the same way when I had teeth on my diff missing. Looks like they use a lot of the same parts.

After consulting with RC expert, "something near-by-you", the clicking noise you heard was the "jump counter" being "auto-engaged" after reaching a certain amount of jumps... :) He also recommends installing Traxxas pinion spindles and spur carriers and installing one remote battery backwards to reduce spinout... :)

I like the you analyze your issues with the RC gives me an idea how to approach my issues. I have an armor vortex that just died on me flashing red light won’t drive or steer guess I got the red flashing light of death what do you say bra should I change the ESC and by the way anybody looking for an RC should just save their money and get a Redcat Volcano for a 229 such a better value and no planned obsolescence. I feel you get a better value from Redcat Racing.

And here I was impressed to see metal gears when you remove the motor.. I think you're right, it's just too fast for what it is... That's insane for me to say, it's never too fast have a great day and don't let off the throttle lol..

I just bought this model from someone off facebook marketplace for $80 CAD , he said he bought 2 and did not want to keep both, so I got a brand new one for cheap. First thing I did was open up the diffs and fill them up with thick grease hoping that will help it go straight off the line. Secondly I noticed that it could be slowed down to almost crawling speeds via a knob on the remote, so even being so quick , you could still control the speed via a simple knob. Hoping this rc will hold up and give me my $80 worth back in performing well.

It was leftover materials garbage beadboard for interior non moisture areas😂🤣 PERFECT for exterior TORRENTIAL FLOOD WATERS

I am fairly impressed with the ripping-ness potential of this little rippah :) .. I think they need to get some better tires on it, they seem a bit too .. hmm.. plastic? and not grippy enough for its power with that 3700kv, and definitely not grippy enough for a damp road. Now to see what the inspection reveals as to its durability .. Stay Tuned, Same Guy Time/ Same Guy Channel (probably not the same time, but it sounded good as an Original Batman show Fan, and now an Original Guy show Fan ) :)

yep. the landing bent the shaft. try not to land on too much power, if you do, you can bend the shaft. happy to help.

That's shocking cause I've emailed them twice about mine and haven't heard anything back. The 3800 kv motor in mine shot craps and the electronic speed controller completely caught fire and melted. All within the first two weeks of owning it. Not impressed but I did order knew parts so I'm waiting for like a month for those to ship from china to the US.

I've recommended some others that are WAY BETTER size is subjective in these lower cost RCS. Some companies just add larger parts to make it appear bigger and it is but it's skeleton or bones are still original so that makes the RC worse
