Hosim X07 Amazon Rc Part 5 what Broke?

Liking your posts so far. I started my 8yr old son with a 9130 Hosim, and he's grown out of it, ready for a little more challenge now, probably not ready to take on the Traxxas 4x4 VSL, so I'm liking what I see from your experience. I appreciate seeing you beat the crap out of it, learning what not to do, but also the little side tech crash course I'm getting out of it. Coming from the 9130 I'm pretty impressed with all the metal components. I might try and keep it on 2S for awhile, but 3S will be a necessary upgrade to train for the VSL and better in time. Loving the mobile shop talk.. you look relaxed in there...I'm thinking some support for that motor for jumps Guy. to reduce the stress going into that back diff on landings. just something to think about. Great video and keep the budget bashers coming.

Great tear down of the Hosim Guy! I hope to see it in action again soon. 17$ for a complete differential isn't bad at all. But I do wish they had a better crown gear to offer. It will be interesting to see if the new one loses any teeth on the next crash or if this past crash was just that unlucky. I've been liking these Trailer sides Guy! Keep up the great content.

Speaking directly to the issue of your personal integrity and character from watching a LOT of your videos and making my own educated assessment of those attributes, about you. It is my personal and professional opinion that you're an inherently honest and sincere man who doesn't have the capacity for lying and committing acts of deceit or dishonesty. Some of that is based on body language. Some of that is based on how you interact with your wife and how you speak of her in her absence. Some of it is based on how you treat your pets and value them. And how you treat your channel and FANS. The rest is easy to see in your property and the loving care that you put into it and the things you have on it, like that garden or your RC track... Reading people is an acquired skill that some of us had to develop for serious purposes. I would bet everything that I own that you could be trusted with anything, any time and any place, by anyone that was worthy of being trusted themselves. Putting all of that aside, just looking at what you do for others... Blowing out that skate park! Going and taking care of that road side and grass a while back. You're a man with a lot of heart and soul Brother. The things that you do here on this channel for the folks! Anyone who comes here and questions your motive(s) or casts dispersions upon your character should be banned and not given the time of day Guy. You deserve nothing but the "Good Stuff" from all of us! I don't a lot about RC cars, so can't really say much when you're doing these kinds of videos, about the cars. But, I do know people and how to read them. There's a reason why I like to give you and Earl a bad time on here my friend! You guys are both TOP NOTCH! Keep it up.

My favorite basher truck is a Hosim 9125. Has twin 390 motors. I’ve beat the hell out of it. I did replace the spur gear , because I ran it on 4s and it destroyed it. It’s a 2s truck with a 60a esc so it was my fault. This one being a new product, maybe they just don’t have tge issues worked out yet..

I think this car should be more durable for a 3s 1/10 scale or less! Think they have the power but not the right gearing ! Or at least better gears ! It looks like a winner but again another fail! It's something to ponder upon and maybe reach out to them and hope you may can change the future of this company! They obviously respond very quickly! That shows they care! Maybe you can help them to get a better product out to the consumer! Stop and think what position you have here! I love your channel cause your straight the point and show what the problem always is ! I dig it ! It's what keep me coming back ! It's your pure honestly about the product! My son picked up a Hosim X07, and within 30 minutes the front diff was making clicking noises. Hoping for the best, we opened the front diff up, and two teeth on the pinion gear were stripped. He bought it on Amazon, so luckily we are able to just return it, but it was very disappointing that the gear stripped so easily. We are hoping the replacement will last longer.

I have a lot in common with that RC...we both are missing a couple teeth ! Think I'll identify as an RC so I can get cheap replacements.....This level of car I think would be good for younger people or new to hobby people, who are not heavy bashers but still want to have some fun. I agree has some good things about it looking forward to more on this car.

Exactly, Guy. In these times of economic uncertainty, parents ARE looking for cheaper alternatives to introduce their children or other family members to the fun world of RC and Hosim is the leading example. They make great "CHEAP" rc cars.👍👍👍 And even the big 2 have made some duds that constantly need repairs, like the recent $900 vehicle that shall remain nameless. Have you ever tested any cars from a company out of California called LAegendary?? I started with 2 of their rc cars to get accustom to working the steering and throttle controls before I bought my first Arrma, Traxxas, and Redcat. I liked their little cars because they are cheap and easy to fix with parts that can be delivered quickly. Lol🤪🤪💯💯💥💥

not a great design on that Ring Gear, with the opposing side notches in between the Gear Teeth, super weak under any kind of impact, I think on-road or Off-Road it was going to break a tooth or two . everyone! and I mean everyone has crashed their RCs on-road and off-road, especially a newer person to the hobby , I do still like the RC overall, a slight redesign on that gear and I think it can be a nice little yard rippah :) for a new player

I dont know Man I think the hit It took was really bad, and just maybe i dont know I haven't checked that part, maybe you also landed with some power and that made It worse, something really similar happened to me, with a tamiya, It fell off from about 5 foot high AND landed righ with the rear end, the diff case was fine the pinion and the crown also were fine, the gears inside the actual diff were also fine, but since It only uses 3 not 4 It doesnt have those 2 little pins crosed to keep them 8n place, It comes with a metalic piece with 3 little shafts that hold the 3 gears in place and thats the thing that broke, I been running that thing on 3s with a lot of extra weight on It and the gear have been doing just fine, but as said the other day, It doesnt matter what brand they are they all brake with a bad landing, i have seen xmax get the Center drive shafts bend the first Time doing a jump and arrma parts getting wrecked the same easy way for sure It doesnt have any where near the same quality but i think It was just bad luck, also maybe you could try some diferent wheels and see how It behaves any way nice vid 👍

No God that's not your fault it's supposed to be off-road capability RC anytime somebody advertise the RCs off-road capable it should be capable go off road I don't know but all I can say is like this and it looks like cool RC in it just probably just has some bad kids and they probably didn't think about the strength of the years you know they they could probably be a new company coming out see all the RC cars try to do something better and overshot the mark that's all but I do like it I think it's a cool RC and I think that it just need that capability of looking at this trickness of the gear for they can run a little better thank you
