@@RCRoads it's honestly the kind of budget rc that closes the gap between premium name brands and budget brands a little bit. It's the kind of rc that brings budget RC cars up a notch and makes it just a tiny bit harder to justify buying a premium car of the same scale.

OMG it is the craziest rc I could have ever imagined at its price. Other than the extra cheap wheels, the rest of the RC was game for another battery pack. I have some duratrax wheels that will fit perfectly and they are a bit smaller diameter so it will lose a little speed but it also won't generate as much motor heat, and it should be ever more snappy on the throttle.

If I didn't see it I wouldn't believe it!! There's a ton of videos of rc cars at skate parks and on a lot of videos the car is trashed by the end. Some of the jumps and landings you did looked like total destruction, but no, the tuff little car kept going. I just purchased a Hosim 9155 and love it except for the lack of a wheelie bar. It needs one!! Anyway, after a lot of research I'm pretty sure the Hosim X07 will be my next rc purchase unless I can afford the Arrma Typhon 3S. I wouldn't waste my money for the Typhon 2S. I've seen videos and the out of the box speed is only about 20mph. The Arrma 2S is only about $40 more than the Hosim x07 but is light years slower than most rc's. 20mph is too slow for $230 so the obvious choice would be the Hosim at under $200. Cool video, you got me sold!!!

Wow I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Like any rc car, the X-07 isn't perfect, but for it's price point, the performance and durability it offers really is tremendous. Of course people have different experiences with any given rc, but in my personal experience of the X-07, it really impressed me. Just make sure to swap those wheels with something slightly smaller as it helps keep motor heat down and may help add some longevity to the gearing, particularly the diffs, they are replaceable like any other part of course, but I'm sure you'd rather drive it more than work on it. I never had a diff problem with mine, but others have, and I suspect those wheels it comes with have something to do with that.

I couldn't believe it. I still can't believe it. All that broke was 3 tires, and the cvd shafts bent a little but that's totally expected. I swapped out the stock wheels with duratrax wheels and it's already back in action.

That car was the surprise RC car of 2022 for me. A bit unstable on the road on the stock wheels, but a tire change fixed it.

@@Rek_Rc They installed more metal links where there was plastic on some of the steering components on the newest models and claim it helps the steering issues some people had, but the tires are the same which have some grip but could be better especially on road. I noticed mine seems like they did fix some of those steering issues. I think a gyro would help alot too. Thank you for getting back to me about it. I got this car recently and I like it. They updated servo and put a servo saver on it. The esc is now screwed down. The wheels need updated because I just broke one today lol. Nice video

Yep I was really impressed by this car especially for its price range. The stock wheels are junk but I put duratrax st tires on it and they improved everything about it. The motor mount is still a concern, it seems like a weak point, and the motor just sort of hangs there like a light bulb with no support, also the motor is a bit small for the size of the car so it creates a ton of heat which over time will destroy the bearings faster. It could use some kind of chassis brace, even a cheap one would be plenty. The wheels could be a slightly better quality as well, and the handling as far as being easy to drive straight could be improved. I think the duratrax tires I'm putting on will fix the handling a little though. Otherwise it's perfectly sensible and for the price I'd even call it a great deal.

Just received this rc Use it For hour and the steering servo is not working properly maybe its because the arm is plastic It suck need to get replacement right away

Thanks buddy. Glad you liked it. That car really impressed me. It took more than an hour of hard skatepark bashing to finally break something. It's actually still in great condition other than the wheels. I just slapped some duratrax wheels on it and it runs perfect still.

Awesome video man, that thing can take a beating!! I'm having some problems with mine and I cant figure it out. First the esc went bad, contacted hosim and they sent out a replacement. Then I decided to try it out on 3s, fried the servo. Didn't bother calling hosim so I just bought a replacement, same damn thing! It's fine on 2s, but as soon as I put in a 3s battery, the servo goes (and only the servo) I tested the voltage coming out the esc on both 2 and 3s just to see if it wasn't being regulated, but it was 5.4v Any idea what could be going on? I'm about to contact Hosim and give them a piece of my mind.

@Political Mechanic apparently not, and it would have been nice for that to be stated somewhere on the package or anywhere for that matter. So I have (2) 3S 45c batteries that I can't use, bad servos etc. I just gave up on it.

I wish I had an answer. But I don't have a clue. Tado had one heck of a clean straight pass. But mechanically I just don't know. The best I could do was 42. The video is just before this one.

@@bosstee561 yep same, I've seen others from 37 to 42 ish mostly as well. It won't go that fast now though because I swapped the stock wheels for some duratrax wheels that are a bit smaller but give a massive boost to handling and stability. For me it's worth it to lose a couple mph top speed in favor of better handling. The only thing I can think that helped the speed is the 3s battery I used was a very small 1000 mah gens ace, but it's as small as a battery you find in a wltoys 1/16 RTR buggy.

@@Rek_Rc the car is good but the issue is it's all over the place the steering trim seems to be off center or somethingwhere it tends to steer off to the left in the motor just like you said is really hot needs a fan or a bigger motor.

update from an owner… The cars not hobby grade it is toy grade… If you see the electronics you will puke. The steering resolution is disgusting… Nothing is adjustable. Good luck racing it up and down the road you're going to kill it this thing won't do a straight line it's all over the place. You're watching the pros sorry I'm not being insulting but these guys are sponsors they get the cars for free… You did a good video though but I own one now and the car is garbage

You bought the car, you spent 200 dollars on it, probably got a first batch version which was terrible, I grant you that. I bought the car out of pocket like I have every car in this channel, 7 months after it's first release, out of sheer curiosity because the reviews were either great or awful about it. But in my case, other than the stock wheels which are garbage as I mentioned and proved, this car held up to abuse I couldn't even believe. Either I got lucky, or you got unlucky, or something in between.

@@Rek_Rc Yeah these cars are either good or terrible i saw countless videos on these since i'm in a process to buy a good and fast basher/stadium truck and this is a "good" budget option also almost looks like a rustler which i like but where i live rustlers are horribly overpriced so either a basically chinese one or a used rustler because my luck with buying thing onlyine even if it's 100% safe i still got f@cked, even if i got my money back my time is wasted.

Any 3s will work, but keep it below 50C, and it's more a matter of size than anything else but generally speaking, you can make any 3200mAh hardcase battery fit the car. Just keep it below 50c, otherwise it could damage the servo. The car runs great on 3s without issue, just mind that C rating.
