Bro, 3/4ths of the time, our specific squad was doing security, or we were doing other things near the school all of Friday into Saturday. We didn't get into the main AO until Saturday early evening when we kicked Nato out of the prison.

For the guys running blanks do they get any benefits of using the blanks? Is it assumed if they point at you and fire you need to go down or its just for looks/realism?

Every time I watch these now--post Ukraine--it would be cool if there was a good way to simulate both drones and mortars/artillery. Of course, it would get a lot less fun I expect. ;)

Drones are allowed but only for a certain restricted class that being "Platoon Intel" and they aren't used to drop ordinance just recon. As for mortars/artillery they are allowed in a limited regard either they're used to fire blank rounds and then a referee calls out the impact locations or they use a taggin mortar with taggin rounds.
