That's cute and all but hose clamps don't cost that much and are alot quicker. Plus hose clamps are easier to find than that tool you have there. Tie wire works well to.

Everything you said is true. But there are still times you might want one of these. Number one is on a whip hose for an air tool. The "Clamptite" clamps are extreme low profile and when done correctly can't cut your hands. Also, there is no limit to how big you make these. I built one of these tools in machine shop at work and don't use it much but am sometimes glad to have it.

@@channelview8854 I bet it is nice. Now I know for a fact that the clamps I was talking about suck for air tools because of all the movements it goes through and it'll end up cutting through your hose. They work pretty well for stationery jobs though. Every thing has it's good and bad sides.

Yeah that’s lovely and all but a plain hose clam works just as or better and is cheaper by any means then this tool that takes you 15 minutes to clamp down one hose.

Эту штуку я придумал очен. Давно для того чтоб поставить хомут в узком месте обычным ключом. Автор тут не уловил смысл ))) удачи.
