ABOUT WEAKEST LINK
Jane Lynch hosts the return of the British import and international game show phenomenon "Weakest Link." In each episode, eight contestants enter the studio as total strangers but must work together to bank the maximum amount of prize money available in each round. The contestants take turns to answer general knowledge questions to build chains of correct answers. Consecutive correct answers greatly increase the value of the chain, while incorrect answers break the chain and force the contestants to start over on the lowest rung with the smallest amount of money. At the end of each round, contestants vote to eliminate the fellow contestant they consider to be the "Weakest Link" in the chain. The contestant who receives the highest number of votes leaves the game as Jane declares the iconic phrase, "You are the Weakest Link. Goodbye."

Very cool! I've never seen that happen. However, in the second round, no one banked either. In that round, they got zero dollars. In the following rounds, the players did bank.

Most of the times when the chain is ran its in the first round because that’s normally the easiest round. I’m more surprised when the chain is ran on a harder round. I’ve seen the chain ran on an episode on the original weakest link on the last three rounds and it was impressive.

In the UK version they still have to say “bank” when they reach the top of the chain or else they lose it when they get one wrong

I saw once on the George Gray-hosted version, when they reached the top of the chain, the next person didn't say "bank." Fortunately, that person got his/her question right and the next person in line was able to bank the $25,000.

This seems almost IMPOSSIBLE because think about it; there are 8 contestants you don't know who have knowledge in different things, one wrong answer breaks the chain, banking starts a new chain and with only a small amount of time, you basically have to have a PERFECT chain to reach the target cash.

I watched this episode, I don’t think most of these ppl even meant to do this. The following round none of them banked again and then the rest of it they very rarely banked. I think they just forgot and got lucky
