I don’t understand all the ‘this isn’t cooking’ comments. You’re partnering with Waitrose, the focus of the video is their party food, what else are you supposed to cook? Not everybody can easily and accessibly cook from scratch. This is a great video showcasing how to host, easily, with Waitrose’s party food. Cook in your own home how you want 🤷🏼‍♀️

I LOVE seeing you entertain! Sadly, I think so many have gotten away from staying in to entertain. It's so easy to make a reservation at a restaurant. However, I always find it much more enjoyable to have friends come over or go over to their homes. There's a special level of comfort and intimacy you just can't get at a restaurant that you can get in someone's home. Plus, I LOVE a good tablescape, beautiful dishes, serving pieces, and pretty glasses. And whether you just hang out and chat, watch a favorite show or get a game night going, it's just cozier when you're at home or a friend's home! I hope to see more entertaining videos from you. For those that are nervous or unsure in the kitchen, you did a great job in proving you can entertain without having to cook every morsel from scratch. This was lovely! Sweet Rich, I'm so sorry to say "short" does not count as an actual hair style. A Pixie, Bob, Crew cut, Buzz cut, Pompadour and a Shag are all examples of hairstyles that also happen to be short... and some of those can also be long (Bob aka Lob or a long Shag). But the style is the "recipe" per se of how to cut the hair so it is a specific style. Good effort though. You're adorable.

I watched Anna’s video first and saw lily intro and got excited as while they are similar they do have different tastes too. Loved what you picked in canapés, and it’s hard juggling dishes and main courses with guests. The gammon choice was perfect. I loved the casual vibe and desserts afterwards. This made me smile. We do this. Chums Christmas. It’s my husband, daughter and I, my 2 best friends and their husbands and kids. We make a weekend of it early in December as we don’t get together as a group very much. Normally we have rotated hosting each year, but for 2018 we rented an Airbnb and all pitched in with cooking and entertainment. I think going somewhere neutral is about to become a tradition going forward.

Kingus M sorry you feel this way. This time of year is always busy for ads for me. Same as April/May for some reason. But I also have quieter months with almost no ads so it balances out. I’m always proud of the ads I do so I don’t see them as less valuable but happy for you to skip them if you prefer non-ads, that’s fine x

You know, who cares if this is similar to Anna’s? They’re in the same country with similar topics on their channels so naturally, companies will gravitate to BOTH of them simultaneously. Would you point out if multiple beauty gurus advertise the same products with similar video styles and comments? Not likely. I’m a bit disappointed that people take the time to comment that this isn’t “cooking.” Yes, your opinion is valid, but so is Lily’s so she can consider this cooking if she wants. Besides, we’ve actually seen her cook so we know she doesn’t do this everyday. I don’t mind spending hours in the kitchen when the meals or occasions call for it, but some occasions just make sense to throw food on a tray, heat, and serve. Plus, it comes out delicious and rather than popping in and out of a kitchen, you get to spend more time with your guests, which is really the point anyway.

We have some pre made things, mainly Christmas puddings and fruit mince pies. (In Australia). Not saying I wouldn't buy some of these, but most would be pretty easy to make yourself, especially the pigs in blankets.
