@ I know it's sad, but the problems run very deep. Broken tiles with mold growing, windows that are falling out when we open them, plumbing that isn't at the right angle to allow a dishwaser, the list goes on and on. I guess things just don't last 70 years.

Tip: Turn the top sheet over and "sleep between the flowers" (or whatever pattern). So when you fold back the tops sheet, it is the pattern and not the back of the pattern. Guidance from my mom, when I was a girl. We reset every Sunday. Prepares everyone for the week ahead and sets the tone.

On the subject of time management and priorities ,my pastor has always told us that if you say “yes” to something, you’re saying “no” to something else. Balance is key. My word of the year is “patience”. My goals for the year are #1 -to maintain my health and stay out of the hospital and #2 - complete my once-a-year deep cleaning by March and #3 - finish paint touch-ups in my 2 bathrooms.

My motto this year - triple "C" - Consolidate, Condense & Combine. I was so excited to see the kitchen renovation on the Wood Glueru this morning, couldn't click on it fast enough. I love a good renovation series. I know you've been wanting this for a while, so happy you're going to start it. The other channel is so much fun, love your husband's sense of humor and all the fun stuff he throws in. Hope you'll be doing a floor plan and sharing to give us a vision of what the space will become. Will you be able to reuse your kitchen cabinets in the garage for additional storage or plans to donate them? I need to redo my bathroom, take out the tub and put in a walk in shower, hip & mobility issues. This year's major project. Oh, and.....I still have a huge oak tree laying across my entire back yard from Hurricane Milton. Need to get that scheduled and removed. Was waiting till after the holidays and now have to get past our cold spell. Noticed when you made your bed - the top sheet was put on upside down. If you put the top sheet, pattern down, when the covers are flipped back you can see the pretty pattern on the bottom and the top sheets.

BALANCE is always my word of the year because it's not really something you achieve and then you're done; you have to work at it constantly, much like decluttering. My partner and I decided that we want to deep clean every room in our home to basically reset it for the new year. I wonder if you could possibly declutter your dresser as I did when pursuing minimalism. GRANTed, I don't have to share the bedroom closet with my partner, as he keeps all his clothing on a different level of the home where he showers and gets ready. I have some bins for the underthings on the top shelf of my closet and hang everything else. You also have a big cupboard in the hallway that you could use... just some food for thought if you want the curtains to easily open and close and have the extra floorspace.

Hi. Love your realistic videos. A solution for the light shining in to the bedroom can be room darkening shades or blackout shades like cellular shades. It blocks out the light and keeps the cold and heat out.

My reset is more like following doctor orders, it's nice to get a protocol beyond "take a pill," but wow. Five pages. It's a lot to incorporate new routines in order to give it a fair shot prior to next appointment. So, getting my space organized and routine in place has been vital. My 2025 projects include flooring (contractor) & me resuming the painting of the interior of my home (ceilings, walls & baseboards). I work full time along with “life” so it doesn’t go as fast as I sometimes wish. Have 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms to finish before I getting the floors done. So glad you are safe from the fires. Love your channel and all the tips you share with us. In your bedroom you could do away with curtains all together and eventually buy windows with darkening blinds inside the window panes. Or have darkening honeycomb shades that pull up and down. We have the honeycomb shades in our bedrooms and I can tell you they really make the room dark even during a sunny day.

Hi. You could close that window up, keep the window, just add a prefab board and paint the same colour as the walls. Then use the wall for extra storage installations or place your bed there, and move the dresser under the higher window. Depends on the size of the room. Thanks for great video.

Yes I can. That was 3 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar, 2 tablespoons of mustard, and 1 tablespoon of maple syrup. It's really good!
