The upcoming Dharmapuri - Neraluru NH, Bengaluru Satellite Ring road project, Bengaluru Local Transit Train system extended to Hosur will improve the ability for attracting more investments and public transit systems will be easier.. Airport & metro will improvise Hosur for sure. But we can't expect them in near future. And central government should think of connecting Chennai with Hosur through rail route

Few more points to Add : Hosur is not only industrial hub but also for Agriculture. Rose , other flower types, vegetables that grow below soil , beans and tomato . Places around Hosur is agriculture based . Granite Hub for cutting and polishing . Though we have highways , inside Hosur roads are not planned and very narrow. For the growing population atlest now roads,bridges should be planned and extended. As you told , very poor train connectivity. Trains should be increased .

No some people are now just shifted to banglore. But many tamil people are there before Bengaluru was started developing. There are any area named in Tamil, karanataka pro protesters changed the name of many places. Even KGF is full of Tamil people it's very hard to work there and they sacrifice there life to Karnataka government financially by working in KGF goldmine. Ever men taxes helped to build Mysore sandal factory 🏭. The sacrifice is very high. Some people are living like a family in Karnataka with kannada people.
