Hot Air Skyway REMASTERED - Crash Team Racing

Finally, what is possibly my favorite track from CTR (aside from Polar Pass, of course). My previous Sonic video has racked up next to know views, so I figured that was a sign you all are looking for some CTR lol.
Apologies for the lack of CTR uploads since Christmas, I've been busy visiting Madison (the capital of WI) for a theater festival I was competing in and didn't bring my computer for the trip. Fortunately, I'm back now! Let me know what you want to see next :)

Activision always choose the composers who have no clue how to properly remake/remix the Crash tunes I really don't know why they just don't ethier recruit someone with a passion for Crash and grew with him and actually understands what would make do the original proud or heck just bring back the original composer who done it in the 1st place. Anyways Badass as always mate :) Hot Air Skyway was also 1 of my favourites along with Polar Pass you have good taste man haha.

@@Hardc0reGamer92 thats a bit harsh. Personally some of the remastered musics better than the original. Though both aren't usually extremely better than the other with a few exceptions. Stuff like the Boulders was definetely better in the original, but stuff like Toxic Waste sounds a lot better in the N Sane Trilogy.

Sonikku I did indeed have a Pogo Padlock remaster, but I ended up taking it down. I sampled from someone who ended up not being too happy I used their work, and even though I offered to reupload without the samples in it they said they'd prefer if I took the video down permanantly. In hindsight I should've just reuploaded because the rest of it was indeed my original work and I was proud of it, but at the time I was just getting bigger on yt and was still relatively new to things so I was very scared of angering people and losing subs lol. Plus I had some bad habits with giving credit anyway just because I was small and it wasn't important at the time. After the incident I took down or added credit to the description of any song I sampled in, but since the chunks I took for the Pogo Padlock one were pretty big I just left that one down. I also won't be sampling from the aforementioned creator again. In case you're sad to see the song go, though, I think you'll be happy to hear that I'm actually working on a newer version right now! The last one was from a year ago (time really flies) so hopefully the new edition will be that much better ;) Long answer to a simple question, but I hope that answers it for you! And in case you're curious why I bring up sampling so much, one of my inspirations is Hideki Naganuma. He did the soundtrack for Jet Set Radio and Sonic Rush, and his work is infamous for weaving in clever samples from all over the place. I've always enjoyed doing that in a more subtle way, whether it be adding the drumline from the Mind over Mutant digging portions to another song as a sly reference or sampling a hip hop beat from JSR itself for my Pogo Painter track.

Regarding your description, while the sonic remix didn't get many views it's always a good thing to test the waters. You saw not many views on the sonic track but perhaps you could try a more iconic soundtrack to remaster? Or have you tried about other games like Rayman 3 (lots of potential I believe!)
