Thanks for this. Went to play a festival on the XDJ XZ and none of the hotcues loaded and every time I pressed the hotcue buttons on the cdj it set new ones, I reckon this would have fixed it, handy video 👍🤞

Thanks man, Great videos...I am confused.. you CDJs setting can be done in preferences cdj,,, but also in the devide it self...? when in one place or the other?..Some videso says to do everything in preferences, but the i realised some things have to be done on the usb devide. ... Strange..

my cat sat on my controller today and activated the sampler by pressing shift and one of the hot cues. It seems you can run it like a sequencer with up to 16 different tracks. Tried to look for it in recordbox but no luck. Maybe a video on the sequencer within rekordbox and how to run it would be useful!

Hi Deep ! I have been watching your videos on Djing since a couple of years.I usually play bollywood remixes. How I set my hot cues is....I put the 1st hot cue (coloured as blue) on the 1st beat of the song, then I put 2nd hot cue (coloured as pink) where the chorus of the vocal begins. Followed by 3rd hot cue (coloured as blue) where the bridge section of the cong begins, then the 4th hot cue (coloured as pink) where the verse of vocal begins. The color instantly makes me know the content of the hot-cued parts of the song. For instance...blue for me stands for the beats...whereas pink for me is for vocals.Do let me know...how can I further improve setting up my hot cues.

I have the 2000 Nexus 1 and mine have started doing what yours were doing in the start example. I've applied all the settings and they just dont seem to be loading into my decks via USB. Some are like the pitch range and master tempo, but not the hot cues. Do i need to reanalyse the playlist and does reanalysing move the beat grids?

Thanks a lot, pal!!! Very helpful!! But here is a question. I have 6 version of rekordbox install. When I insert flash drive at club, at some models of Pioneer CDJ or XDJ I can see the hot cues but they are not active. Problem the same as you describe. I go to menu at CDJ and push autoload hot cue to ON, but hot cues still no active. Can it be because of at MacBook I have latest version of Recordbox, but in some clubs software is not updated, so hot cues doesn't active? Or your solution will solve the problem anyway?

I did everything as you sad. Yesterday I played at club on XDJ 700. Hot cues doesn't work. In menu there were no "hot cue autoload". Why can it be so? Old software on XDJ?

Does anybody know if a CDJ 2000 Nexus (not the nexus 2) shows the 8 hotcues you now have available within Rekordbox . I know you can only use A B and C, But I want to know if it just shows them on the display. I prefer to use the hotcues to mark my various start and end points in a track instead of the memory cues. But if the display only shows A B and C there's no point in continueing my preparation like that.
