Isn't ironic that the terrifying variants of Rajang and Deviljho usually get out done in difficulty by their afflicted counterparts? I see more hunters struggle with Apex/Hyper Jang and Jho than their variants it's kinda "strange" imo.

Well for Apex, it's because it's such a massive damage, armor, speed boost. And actually, both of them in Apex use the moveset of their Varient, so you're in a sense fighting Savage/Furious but without their special visuals. Hyper monsters are in the same boat; they get a massive attack and health boost compared to their normal states and by extension, Variants. I mean, Capcom *could* have made Apex/Hyper Savage Jho/Furious Jang, but that would've been absolutely the 9th Circle of Hell.

May I state that it somehow triggers me when if you are already low on healing and have just headed to the base camp in order to obtain the supplies, you simply heal up with said supplies rather than laying down in the bed that is only 3 meters next to you and provides you with an infinite amount of free cimplete heals? That's like heading to a Pokécenter and rather than having your Pokémons health and ap restored back to full for free you spend money of potions and aether and use them right next to the free healy thing station....

I got an idea and need to tell people but i don't know how to put it but. Could it be that the new island for the Iceborn expansion could have been created by zoro magdoro's energy release when he died? because after doing the quest to kill rathalos and diablos, the commander says that they need to re-direct him into the sea to save the new world and that life will go on in the ocean, meaning his stored energy explosion created g-rank monsters and a new land... I also suspect this because one zorah leaves the everstream, he heads into the ocean around the same part rathalos flew towards.

Phoenix Firebird Unlikely as it would be more likely to create an undersea ecosystem like a reef. The island is also cold and what with Zorah being well volcanic I’d say no. If they ever go anywhere with that it’ll be reintroducing underwater combat hopefully in a better way.

Well that's true enough, but it's not like Rajang's gonna get out of that fight unscathed either like how King Kong easy solo'd that one V-rex. I don't doubt he'd win, but even with Rajang's biological advantages, Jho can put up a pretty good fight himself, indication of his ability to suplex Diablos, along with his capability to also hurl boulders(though not as big as what Rajang can lift but is still as big as a hunter) with his mouth, this means that Jho's got pretty strong neck muscles and jaws along with a hard ass skull, meaning it's not all that easy to just snap the neck or wreck his jaw either, so I'd still say they're about on equal terms still in power and capabilities even if Rajang tops out in the end. On a side note, do you think either Jho or Rajang can fight or even body Nergi 1 on 1? A lot of people have constantly disputed that Nergi would beat both since he bodies ED's, but I feel like most of them are overestimating Nergi too much, cuz I think they forget that most of the ED's that Nergi fights aren't exactly in their prime anymore, unlike the ones in the Old World who are, since they've come to the Elders Recess to die since they're approaching the end of their lives, AKA they're old, so Nergi's not exactly fighting with top contenders at this point. Personally, I think they're pretty equal with Nergi, even more so in their variant or other enhanced forms, and could even body Nergi as well, we've already seen Jho's capabilities to wreck physical powerhouses like Diablos and Rajang is said to be capable of fighting on par with Teo and Luna themselves, so I'd say they're pretty even with Nergi.

Kazually Kunfuzed Rajang would suffer fatal injuries, even if breaking the jaw, im pretty sure jho stil wouldn’t have died (I mean come on, it’s jho), and even if he did die, the saliva would ruin rajangs hands forever, cripling rajang, and making his best weapon useless. And even if jho won, he’d probably die later on anyways. Lets not forget his dragonbreath either. No true winner.

Yes ive waited so long, finally!! And i am team jho, rage, he is the canonic counterpart in power to rajang. And jho is based on a alligator/crocodile which are natural oponents of rainforest gorillas. Jhoes bite while enraged should be able to penetrate rajang thicc as arms, his anger and hunger pushes him further than rajang, his saliva han melt armour to. And the last fact is deviljho is feared far more than rajang he is known as the devourer of worlds

Deviljho has the dragon element, lore-wise that stuff is OP to everything that hasn't a really big resistance to it. It is also quite the tank. However Rajang has great strenght and Thunder... however it is a relative glass cannon. It's all a matter of who hits the other first I guess. I bet on Rajang though.

A cute but dangerous pickle Deviljho’s electric weakness is just there for gameplay balance. It likely isn’t canon considering he consistently dominates apex thunder monsters like Zinogre and Lagiacrus. Also, does that boulder look bigger than a Diablos to you?
