Hot Enough? 128 in Death Valley

Me and my wife hate the heat. We live in northern California and can't wait to leave. Aiming for Minnesota, the Dakotas, or maybe Indiana or Kentucky. So excited to get to the colder weather!

I lived in Northern Wisconsin for many years. I have a lot of fond memories like trout fishing and maple syrup making but the weather isn't one of them. One night my brother said, the weather right now is perfect. I agreed and 2 minutes later a tornado broke out. I like volcanoes! I must be crazy. Aloha

We’ve been super hot here in Napa Valley the past week. I’ve had to flood my established trees with water overnight. We’ve had hotter temperatures but it seems this heat wave is lasting an extend amount of time. I’ve been wondering what’s happened to that natural Bay Area air conditioning, where the fog rolls in after a few days. It’s not happening, and over the past couple years it seems to have greatly diminished. This is just the reality of climate change, no guess work here.

The time for guessing is over. It is here now. I remember the Bay Breezes. The Trade Winds in HI have diminished too.

Not dealing with much heat here in #DurangoCO. Speaking of #DeathValley, I am planning at some point to visit Barker Ranch out that way.
