Our kitties just want to be near, we just had dinner and they are splayed out in various locations just basking in the our presence. If I go get in the rocking chair I will quickly have the twins in my lap. A cats purr is a healing frequency(literally) and it’s soothing as well. Question for you re: the pineapple slips I got from you a couple of years ago how close can you plant the skip. Internet says 36 inch between. I have great soil.
@GreenGardenGuy1
@GreenGardenGuy1 4 күн бұрын
If you use 36" you will probably need to drive support stakes to hold up the fruit. It turns over when it gets heavy and the bottom will sun burn. We plant pineapples on 12" spacing in three triangulated rows. The spacing is like the 5 on a dice. Every dimension is 12" in triangles. This creates enough leaf density to support the fruits as they ripen and stakes are not required. In Thailand they plant patches so dense I have no idea how they pick with out bleeding.
