Monroe def had a lot of physical changes, from hair bleach to plastic surgery, so we should not deny how important physical looks in our society are (sadly), though I agree to the fact that she also adopted a new alter ego which chaged her behaviour, manners, enrgy, vibe,... was what made her truely alluring

I have the same power as Marylin Monroe when it comes to a certain topic but I WISH I had the same power of commanding attention she had! I've been wondering for god knows how long how she did that instant switch with full conviction AT WILL. It being an alter ego makes so much sense!!! It feels so much easier to instantly change my self-concept with it

Yes, Marilyn had a LOT of sadness and issues like SA in her childhood and fostercare that made her extremely adaptable as a female survivor, though never conquering her deep desire and need for fatherly/male love/adoration - she didn't have the foundation of a healthy home that separated male love from male desire, since she was taken advantage of at such a young age by men who should have been her caregiver/protector. I have always loved her and always felt deeply sad for her - ALL THAT BEING SAID:) there are some sweet relatable points here in your video. I'm 40 and loved this. There are intelligent fun insightful points that are meaningful to me as I reasses my life and refocus my energy. Thank you:)

I didn't know that about her childhood, thank you for sharing! And thank you so much for watching! Sending you love

She would walk unnoticed most of the time in New York. Also wearing wigs and sunglasses. She was also tormented internally and was surrounded by dreadful people (handlers) and they would put her on uppers and downers... Opioids..

A lot of celebrities have alter egos. That's why we shouldn't worship them. Some alters come from severe childhood trauma also. It's not all fun for everyone.

Marylin Monroe didn’t change anything physically? Maybe the biographies I’ve read were lying but according to them she had a lot of physical changes from hair color to plastic surgery.

I enjoyed the video but that comment bugged me a bit!

Marilyn Monroe was able to go completely unnoticed walking down the street, then without changing her physical appearance, shift into an energy that caused other people to notice and admire her. This is what I was referencing in the video, but I'm not denying that she altered her physical appearance to fit with her "Marilyn Monroe" persona.

I don't see how this is possible for me because I have become objectively ugly. This may work for relatively attractive or average women to make them feel super hot, but someone who is ugly asf....I don't see how. Literally an illness has broken down the elastin in my skin and also bone loss. People stare at me when I go out because my face looks so saggy, mishapen and completely weird. I avoid shopping centres etc because I cry at how I'm stared at. Clothes shopping is no longer fun but now is sorrowful because everything looks saggy and rubbish on me. So if I was to walk around feeling like I am beautiful and magnetic, I would not be playing delulu, I would literally be delusional 😭😭

Its weird though because Monroe is basic...like basic basic lol.
@Covenxnt5 ай бұрын
Yeah that’s what’s interesting. Looks have never been of most importance in seduction. Cleopatra was far the most beautiful woman in her prime, yet men almost started wars over her. Monroe is far from basic inside. She built one of the most well thought, intentional, sex symbols ever from scratch because she WASN’T born that way. I truly think the reason why she is so admired and far from “basic” is because it’s really difficult to have the intelligence, knowledge and ability to understand exactly what to do with your makeup, gestures, eyes, speech to seduce anyone and absolutely never break character.
