And they only set up the full international circuit (FE uses the pit straight, cuts over and u turns in the Nouvelle Chicane and through the swimming pool) for the F1 weekend. Only F1 drivers are usually able to drive on it when closed off.

Yeah. Monaco doesn’t have income tax, a very high cost of living. 30% are millionaires. They only set up the full international circuit once a year for the F1 GP, so many of those people are also in town for the race (one of the most prestigious races in all of motorsport).

The only place in the world that any of us watching, can go and drive an F1 track. The week before race week, the track is fully set up so Joe public can take as many Laps they can. We did in May this year and it was awesome.
