Hot & Heavy! Plane Spotting Action at Houston IAH- Sunday Afternoon 6/28/15

Hot and Humid Sunday afternoon on the A/B Terminal garage. Tested two Canon video cameras this session; the Handycam cx405 and the Vixia HF G10.
Image quality was better on the Vixia, but the zoom was superior on the Handycam.
Hazy, humid weather, so the light was not best.
Several heavies, as usual for Sunday. I was pleased that this compilation contains the "Boeing Straight", to borrow a poker term....737, 747, 757, 767, 777, 787.

I live in Texas alittle far from The George Bush International Airport in Houston. Today I'm going there to pick up my dad and my two older sisters Departing from LAX (Los Angeles) to IAH....and Tomorrow I'm going there again to pick up my GM and my Cous. departing from GC International Airpory from A country in South America.

Enjoyable video. Thanks. Anybody else notice that a spectator appears to be talking on the phone to a loved one who is on the United 767 to Germany (26-27 mins)? Does United allow use of phones or was someone ignoring instructions? Most airlines prohibit the use of mobile (cell) phones in flight.

Thanks Kevin- I'm glad you enjoyed it! Recently the FAA began allowing cell phone use in aircraft. The guy you heard is a UA Pilot you was talking to his teenage soon leaving for a summer trip to Germany.

jetsmasher Thanks for the info. Interesting. Use of cell phones for calls (as distinct from playing angry birds etc) still largely prohibited during flight in Europe, but I understand that is changing.
