Yess they are but because they are trained to memorize them quickly 😉☺️ professional dancers learn new choreographies all the time to train their brain :)

THank you for posting this. Dancers always make it look so easy and effortless, but something like this shows how much work, memory, counting and years of skill go into learning something choreography quickly. One of my fondest memories was seeing this Chicago the year it opened on Broadway, with Bebe Neuwirth. Ann Reinking had left the show by then, but Bebe was hilarious in the role and such a phenomenal dancer. I still have the cast album to relive the experience.

This is amazing and precise. David Bushman is a talented guy who knows all of the "Chicago" tracks. Wow!

This is a hard yet fun choreography to learn. I'm not a professional dancer at all, but I'm sure going to keep trying until I get it, even if it's just for me 😊
@TDW89644 жыл бұрын
Wow, great, she has very long arms, but they add to the flowing movements, curious what it be like with a Velma included...if this doesn't work out, she could try The Search For Audrey II!

Can there please be a search for Velma or Roxie next year? I didn't know about the search for Roxie when there were auditions going on; I'm so sorry 😭 one of my dreams is to be in this musical tbh and I wanted to since like 8 or 9 years ago so yeah

Was this Fosse choreo? There's so much vernacular jazz!
@xhappyponyxwasmyoldname13954 жыл бұрын
Technically Ann Reinking choreo from the ‘96 revival, but she essentially used the same, if not extremely similar Fosse choreo from the original show
@smurf9024 ай бұрын
@@xhappyponyxwasmyoldname1395 thank you for clarifying for those who keep using Fosse name for this choreo in the revival. Just as you said, it's extremely similar but not exact as Mr Fosse's. It's Ann's.

...huh. I wonder if it would help to remember that Roxie will need to do this alongside Velma, and they have to look the same-so be careful with those arm movements and don’t go out too far because you’re going to have someone right next to you.
@Royalbrettania4 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure if you get the part , you'll get a couple rehearsals with Velma, so for now just concentrate on yourself and learn the Choreography

Yes she’s pretty good but not the precision and controlled body movement - the low snake arms need work - because elbows were to pressed into the body

He is such a excellent dancer and he looks very appealing when dancing, not the lady, not everyone looks good when they dance, people have to self evaluate themselves.
