You mentioned on social media recently that you were planning a trip to Vietnam. I am currently in Penang and travelling to Da Nang next week. Staying for around 4 weeks. Hi Lynn! Yes we are heading to Vietnam at the end of June, we get to Hanoi 24th June and then will slowly make our way down, will you still be there then? Also want to do Penang so any tips you have!!

Hi Lauren, unfortunately I leave Da Nang on the 19th June. I would have loved to meet you guys. Penang Hill, Gurney Walk, George Town and the Blue Mansion worth a visit. I found a great cafe called Batu Cafe which had great views of the sea. It is off the main road that goes from George Town to the Gurney Walk. I missed the sign post but it is up a lane on the right hand side of the road. The cafe is in the grounds of the Lava Mansion. To be honest George Town was too busy for me. I am currently staying in a hotel in Batu Ferringhi which is on the beach. The sea water is very polluted and I'm not going for a swim any time soon. Such a pity! The sunsets are absolutely amazing.
