Great testimony. I am glad he had an encounter with the late Paa Willie before all these he went through himself. He is a epitome of Psalm 91. The Lord indeed has been his refuge because he knew how to dwell in the secret place of the most high. I have learnt a lot through his experience as I did with that of Paa Willie Ofori Attah

I respect you my legal luminary. Am inspired by your charitable character in giving out your medication to that same prisoner. Who ever is in the service of his fellow man is simply in the service of God. God bless you. You are just a legal thorn in the flesh of some political bigots filled with much vindictiveness. I salute you my mentor

People talk about democracy but in this country, we're practising the highest form of autocracy. There's no independent Judiciary or legislature. The executive controls everyone and everything and are capable of manipulating the decisions of the other arms of government. It's really a very serious issue we have to look at.

We may all have different views when it comes to what he went through based on our inherit political pedigree. Every opposition party or group has gone through this injustices. I have no personal issue with Rawlings but I believe all those years they had during the military and democratic years should have been taken advantage of to streamline our justice system to be purely independent and fair and also create a special force for managing and restructuring our local land issues. All these genuine politicians who became political victims need to bring their honest ideas for a GREAT RECONCILIATION program for Ghana. Moreover, current and new government should be patriotic enough to accept the good works of past regime in order to move the nation forward. Ghana politics has become like a gang membership and that's a "time bomb." GOD BLESS OUR HOMELAND GHANA 🙏

I actually read the comments only few minutes into the interview. Those who typed hate probably didn't watch the whole interview and their comments were mostly motivated by prejudice and so I would not be too hard on them. However,if they actually watched to the end and still spewed hate,they need healing and may God provide it.

*The issues we have in Africa started a long time ago* ........................................... *The excessive love for material wealth, a cause for a nation's downfall:* A British lieutenant General Sir Fredrick Stanley Maude was tasked to conquer Baghdad In 1917. Upon Arrival in Iraq, he came across a shepherd and his flock in a field, and asked his translator to offer a shilling to the shepherd and ask him to slaughter his dog. A dog is a very Important companion to a shepherd; It warns him of all impending dangers, and guards the flock from wolves and thieves. But at that time, with a shilling, one could buy half a herd.....The shepherd agreed to the deal. He grabbed his dog and slaughtered it at the feet of the General....! General Maude said to the Shepherd, "I will give you an additional shilling to skin the dog! The shepherd took the shilling and skinned his dog. Then the General offered the third shilling to cut the dog into quarters. The shepherd took the shilling and chopped the dog. Now the Shepherd told the General that for a fourth shilling, he would eat the dog, to which the General answered, "I wanted to learn about your values in this country, and I discovered that you slaughtered, skinned and chopped your most trusted friend and companion for three Shillings!You were even ready to eat it for an additional one....That's all I needed to learn about your country!". Then he Addressed his soldiers and said, "As long as this kind of mentality prevails in this country and you can buy anyone, don't fear anything and no one!" Since that time till now in that part of the world, officials have sold their countries, their people, their friends, their honour and their principles for a house in Europe and bank account in Switzerland.....! Are you any different from that shepherd? Are our shepherds in this country different from the shepherds in Baghdad-Iraq and other parts of the corrupt and selfish world? Let's ponder and transform our ways in this beloved nation of ours. Ghanaians must think about this

The reason why he rejected the pardon was because the ndc had won power and Mills was to be president the following day. It's that simple.
@cilsnow

Per your conclusion, would it be correct to suggest that Kuffuor also pardoned him because he knew he was exiting and wanted to save face?
@cojoopoku4946
@cojoopoku4946 4 жыл бұрын
@@cilsnow No, he pardoned him because he knew Mills will have released him, so why not do that and take the credit. The lack of security and judicial independence in Ghana is a problem for this 4th Republic. When a criminal charts the course of a democracy, this is what happens. Blame Rawlings for this shambolic demoracy.
