Good to see some spring crappie action! It has me reminiscing about the old Crappiethon tournaments we used to have. They tagged a bunch of crappies and released them into pools 13 & 14,. and you had 60 days to catch them. Each crappie had a goofy name and corresponding prize. It was something different and definitely jacked up the anticipation of any trip to the backwaters.

That sounds like an interesting tournament.

My Dad and I did some crappie fishing recently. It was great spending time on the water with him. I’m glad the video brought back some fond memories for you.

Hi Lance, another great video thanks! I upgraded all of my settings on my locator and I was wondering if you could share your settings on your 2D Sonar, and or your DI or SI sensitivity and contrast numbers on your Hummingbird. I’ve played with mine and I’m not getting the clarity I had before. Thanks

I don’t rely on my electronics much for seeing fish. I use it for depth and water temp but not much else. The settings are whatever the defaults are.

Absolutely awesome! I need to go for panfish more when I go out there… usually just wait for the pike and bass fishing to heat up before heading out there. Time to change it up!

Those were some beautiful crappie. We just got back from our place at Lake of the Ozarks and they were spawning along the bank in front of our cabin. They are a lot of fun on light tackle.

I really enjoy a good crappie bite on plastics. It won’t be long before they are spawning here.

Won’t be long for the crappie spawn. The Carbon x reels are legit.

@@AnglerX what you’re using for walleye? 2000 or 3000?

Way to put the smack down on 'em, and no trains!..😂
@AnglerX9 ай бұрын
There were plenty of trains. I was so close to the tracks that I would stop fishing when a train went by because of how loud it was.
