Nate is a lucky boy, so cool to see you all together. I was at spring lake 2 weeks ago, I couldn't buy a fish. I'm now kicking myself for not maybe asking you where to go. I only have a kayak so distance can be a challenge. Another great video I will get to Onalaska for those pike some day even if it's frozen. LOL

Thank you! I was amazed at the number of white bass on those wing dams. It's also amazing how there can be so many one day and other days you can't find them anywhere.

Niki and I enjoy the smack talking as well! The white bass have really shown up in a big way recently. I suppose the higher water may have a role in that.

Lance sometimes when you use a clip with the Pop-R I think it allows you to lose tension on the fish so they can shake the hook easier! I always tie my Pop-R directly with a knot that locks down!

Funny you say that. My Dad and I just went for smallmouth on Saturday using the Pop R. I tied directly to the lure and didn't lose any fish. Thanks for the tip!

Great video! I was fishing that same exact wingdam they are stacked on it! Brought my fly rod out there last week and got a few on the fly rod which was a blast!

Sometimes its a joy just to sit back and let my wife catch all the fish. I'll sneak one in every now and again while we are fishing, but there's just something special about taking her fishing out in the boat.

Lance,l fillet my trout like a walleye,fish12 inches and under the pin bones seem to desolve,good eatin,another fine video,l haven't tried ice fishing when l go up to northern WI yet.

Rivers present different challenges. Fish locations change more in rivers. You have to always be searching.

I’ve been having fun with all the shallow bluegill the last few weeks too. The ponds in town are full of them and fun to chase from the canoe. Zman tiny tickler on a 1/30 micro shroomz just hammers them!!

Great video once again. I know that area well. I noticed you anchored. That's probably a key versus trying to spot-lock in a shallow area.

The anchor is better in the weeds. Spot lock tends to clog up the prop with weeds

They are probably spawning. Otherwise they would not be having the bass tournament that is going on currently

I think the bass we caught were pre spawn but there are bass spawning now
