hey David Freiburger I have a 1976 GMC Sierra grande shortbox sitting in my backyard in Ontario Canada its been sitting for a couple years as my grandfather passed away from cancer he bought it original in 76 off the showroom floor I'd love to get it running again in his memory and drive the beast you guys should come to Canada and help a young guy out would make for a cool episode! @ devenjcollins,, I agree with deven, only I'm a first gen ranger guy with a 2.3 turbo conversion. Do a story on both,, build the 4.3 and compare with the ranger 2.3. the 2.3 is a factory motor in rangers so it would be fair.

20% is a good general rule, though its often more for an auto, and even more for auto AWD etc.

For a T56 in 4th gear, it's 7%. 4th gear on a t56 is no gear at all.
