Lol I'm 13 and we have a large field in our backyard and I drive back and forth with my little lawn mower that I got for $75. It has a train horn on it that's worth more than the tractor! you're really right it is a great hobby to get into and I'm actually planning on putting my tractor in a parade that we have on the 4th of Julyin our village and I'm going to try to go right behind the fire trucks with loud sirens and horns and stuff

Mr.Techaky I know right lol. Yet it has a 4 cylinder from a car. Shifter karts have motorcycle engines. The stock classes use a stock lawn mower body and frame with the stock motors souped up. This is the Outlaw class which technically isn’t a lawn mower but it’s “Hot Rod Garden Tractor” pulling lol.

@@tedjames9176 if its the NA 1.6 I doubt you are making that much! How much boost? The 1.9 TDI weighs I think 150lbs more, GT1749V Turbo and the Bosch pump is way bigger! And that's just the factory specs. Pushing the 1.6TD beyond 200hp takes a lot more than just boost! =]

jacob arterburn It’s a 1.6 diesel out of a Jetta with an added turbo. The Rabbit had the same motor back then.

jacob arterburn I don’t know squat about trophy karts so I did a quick Google search to see what they’re about. If you need quick HP and response a turbo diesel might not be good for the sport?!🤔 I build boost and RPM at the line like a drag car and hold it down the track. A turbo diesel might not be good for the sport being a trophy needs to be able to let off the gas for jumps and get back to top RPM and HP quickly. Hope that helps.

It's easy. Use any wastegated turbo from any 1.6 or 1.9 vw diesel. Can even use a vnt15 turbo off an alh engine. Wire the vanes open to limit boost. Or run a vacuum line and an n75 valve

UCDHIUS Homemade square framing per MAPA rules. 1st engine when it was built was from a diesel Rabbit but in this vid the engine was swapped to a diesel Jetta which are the same engines.
