Hot Rod Power Tour 2022, LONG HAUL!

Last two day of Hot Rod Power Tour 2022 (Days 4 and 5). We complete the Long Haul all the way from Canada in a 1965 Mustang Fastback and a 65 Comet! Dad's first Power Tour, Meeting friends for the first time, reuniting with old friends, great weather, amazing cars, couldn't ask for a better trip!

Didn't go on the tour this year. But seeing so recaps and folks driving on Atlanta Speedway that looked like it was fun as hell and maybe the highlight. Kevin/JYD was almost giddy LOL.

Hey Mike, good job on the videos. watched all the HRPT for 2022 wished I could have made it . I'm signed up for the long haul 2023 will be cruisin in a 68 ford falcon futura wagon. Starting out in Michigan for the long haul can't wait. Did the long haul in 2019 for the first time, had a few break downs but we made it. Hope to see you out there. Be safe

HRPT 2023.....Got long hauler tickets on Friday1/20. Got all hotels booked Saturday morning. My daughter and I will be making the trip this year, 1989 3/4 ton 2wd suburban.

This video is making me wish it was already next summer! I plan on going in 2023 and possibly take my Dad with me. I just got a 66 Mercury Montclair with 31,000 original miles this week. I think it might be the best choice for power tour, if not, I'll probably take my 66 Studebaker, so long as I get the engine and trans swapped over the winter....I really need a garage.

Right on, hope to see you out there! Things to keep in mind… good cooling system and AC if possible! Spare parts to bring: fuel pump (mechanical or electrical), fuel filter (I by the mechanical pumps with the built in replaceable filter canister) so I bring the filter canisters, carb rebuild kit… and whatever tools you may think you’ll need! Better to be prepared than not have something when you need it

Best series I like is the 65 Fastback prep for power tour. You also help me swap my 4 lug to 5 lug. You dm n told me that the 5 lug spindle would bolt right to my 4 lug components

We are plan on running the whole tour this year. We had planned on driving our Pro Touring 67 fastback but it’s running behind schedule. So we are going to do a mad rush and try to build a 70 Mach 1 for the tour a long with my buddies 67 Nova. Hope to see you guys out there.
