People should stop Complaining that hot rod was responsible for optimus prime's death while trying to take out megatron. I mean I see why, but I was hotrod I would grab my blaster and shoot megatron behind him and distracting him long enough to optimus grab his blaster shoot megatron's hand off and using his axe to impale megatron thus ending the war once and for all all optimus prime didn't die. Sure megatron would get reformed into galvatron later and the last of story but still if optimus prime was alive, he would beat galvatron and unicron aft's clean.

G1 hotrod was great in the movie in season 3 not so much (6 out of 10) Energon hotrod I don't know what to say considering I haven't watched it Dreamwave hotrod, I haven't read the books Animated Rodimus, I wish he'd appeared more and I love his bow weapon (8 out 10) Titans return hotrod, I like the arm blaster and the battle mask he has (9 out of 10) IDW hotrod, has got be the best (10 out of 10) Basically tfp smokescreen is base of the character Shattered glass hotrod, I don't know much Bayverse hotrod is ok, but what's with the British accent and the color scheme orange and black? Feels like it suits someone else And Cyberverse hotrod is a good. character.

G1 Movie and Series is an near character since he reminds me of my favorite hero, Spiderman. With the whole responsibility and development he's given. Energon is a cool concept of him being someone who's on par with Optimus Prime and he makes a interesting deal with Alpha Q to bring Unicron back to life with the purpose to bring planets to life. Animated I wish we got to see more as well. Last knight didn't really do that much. But, he did have an awesome time gun. Cyberverse is definitely a great character and I loved his black paint job he got in season 3 The comics are a different matter to me.
