Thx for the tip on the glass, I’m at that stage. As for the roof; I cut the roof skin off of mini van at the junkyard. With minimal manipulation it fit quite nice. Only if you were so inclined to go with steel instead of vinyl. Good luck, it’ll look great either way.

yes the glass factory had rounded corners on most if not all of the old flat glass cars I have every work on so that makes sense brother to make them slide nicely

Back in high school my junior year in 1962, a buddy of mine had a 28 model A coupe and we installed a textured vinyl for car tops. I believe you can still get it.

the top were just cover with vinyl stock over the wood bows with beading around the edge but the plywood covered in vinyl would be fine to

My 1930 2 door has a sheet of plywood screwed to the top wood with wood screws but when I decide to add vinyl to the top I will have to run counter sunk head machine screws and put nuts and washers on the inside. Using lock washers will usually prevent the screws from turning in the wood. Are you going to show how you installed the rear window? Jim

It's yours but l think plywood with the vinyl on top of it what ya make the ribbs out of lve got 28 2dr Essex got same problem ? An what kind of glass ya using normal glass or plexiglass just asking thks again for sharing Paul

In a later video I show how I did the plywood and vinyl. It looks pretty good. I went with a glass kit for a stock model A.
