Hot Rods, Customs & Gassers from the TRIPLE CROWN of RODDING

The Triple Crown of Rodding is the ultimate gathering of high end hot rods and customs, but it's also home to a great selection of home-built traditional hot rods. Tons of vintage speed equipment can be found at the Nashville Superspeedway, although there isn't a swap meet...all of these vintage parts are being used on cars. ARDUN cylinder heads, fuel injection units, magnesium blowers, magnesium wheels and so much more. Take a look at a small sampling of my favorite hot rods, customs and gassers on hand at the second annual Triple Crown of Rodding event.
My jobs at the event included photographing the event for In The Garage Media (Modern Rodding, All Chevy Performance and Classic Truck Performance magazines), as well as coverage for Goodguys Rod & Custom Association and Coker Tire, so it was a busy weekend. I'm sure there is some stuff I missed, but I couldn't see it all in two days.

Those are ET Indy Roadster wheels, a modern reproduction of the old Halibrand magnesium wheels used on Indy cars in the '50s and early '60s. www.etmags.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=82/mode=prod/prd82.htm

Kindig's Corvette looks like crap. Who wants a car with a half inch of sidewall? The vehicles should have to be driven on the road to the event from the creator's home address. That POS 'Vette would not have made it out of the state of Utah, let alone Detroit.

Agree. Most cars drive from trailer lot to infield. Needs to be mor focus on Driven cars. Most can’t afford high end builds, but build it safe enough to drive distances.
