The first car I ever wrecked! These things are great burnout machines! Absolutely no rear traction! Not my favorite year, but not bad! Great watching the kids grow and help! As of this moment I don’t know the deal you got but looks pretty decent!

I had a reply about how to correct the loose column, but usel s toob flushed it for God knows why. Under the turn signal switch are three unusual bolts that commonly loosen. They have external Torx heads and should be taken out singly to apply thread locking fluid before fully tightening them. It's a little bit involved, but the reward is SO worth it.

Thank you! The loose wheel drives me crazy.

I had a 76 El Camino I had some fun building. I had struggled and modified the oil pan and motor mounts to swap in a 472 Cadillac/Turbo 400, parts from a 76 Laguna S-3 were the nose, swivel bucket seats, floor shifter and console, tilt steering column. It had a topper I customized -- Skylights from a 60's Olds station wagon V butted, roof behind skylight was raised, wing type spoiler at rear of topper. It was black with a red starskey and hutch style stripe going the length of the car and then up and over the topper spoiler. I know the description sounds weird but it actually looked decent. I wish I still had pics of it but they were lost in a house fire.
@HotRodHoarder2 күн бұрын
Oh man that sounds cool! I bet it looked cool with the Laguna nose.
@todddenio3200Күн бұрын
@HotRodHoarder I thought it looked cool.. I wanted to build another one to replace it but there was nothing left in my heart after it ended up under a red pine fell on it. Then life got in the way and I ended up flat broke and physically crippled up. I had a few sweet cars in my life but that was my favorite.
@todddenio3200Күн бұрын
@HotRodHoarder if I was any good with computers I could digitally recreate it but I am lucky I can use it enough to watch KZbin and comment on it.
@todddenio3200Күн бұрын
@@HotRodHoarder if you could have gotten a title for this one and it had a good roof, it would have been a great candidate for cloning my old one... Most people are clueless about what a Laguna S-3 was and have never seen one. I had a few people say mine looked like a Camaro station wagon....lol.

Not a bad El Camino if it weren't for the rust. I found a 67 El Camino at a mom and pop car dealer, unfortunately it sold before I could buy it. Carly and Issac are becoming quite the helpers. They're doing a great job! 😅 I can't wait to see the new project!! 👍👍 Thanks for sharing, Tommy!

Plenty of parts to save,strog motor, trans,rearend. Maybe put the body parts & seat on marketplace or even the whole car will sell . I get lot of no title cars and sell the parts and or the whole thing. Check the fuseable links for the power issue, people always mess them up with headers.

It’s not too difficult to get a title here in TN on vehicles 30 years and older (as long as it’s not stolen). My dad says he wants to stick a motor in it so I’ll use the big block and he’ll put the car back together.
