They don't seem to have all the sauces used regularly on the show. Most of the first sauces used in the Hot Ones lineup (Sriracha, Tapatio, Texas Pete, Tabasco, Cholula) can be found in grocery stores, I think I've also seen the "Pain" sauces in some grocery stores, El Yucateco, Mad Dog and Blair's I've seen on Amazon (along with the others mentioned). Heatonist seems to have 5 Sauces that at one time or another were on the show: Hot Ones Hot Sauce, High River (Rogue), Queen Majesty (Red Habanero & Black Coffee), Bravado Spice Co. (Ghost Pepper & Blueberry), Torchbearer (Zombie Apocalypse). Now that I think of it, where does one get "Da Bomb" from?

This is fucking awesome. Just started watching you a few months ago and easily one of my favorite channels. I think it would be cool for each new season to have the sauces curated by a different hot sauce guru and do a tasting like this as a teaser for each new season. I really enjoyed watching this episode and can't wait for the new season.

After watching this, I ordered 2 of these from Heatonist. I got the Queen Majesty Red Habenero Black Coffee and the Pablo's bullfighter. Nick, from Heatonist, wrote me a very nice handwritten note, included a bottle of the Pirate's Lantern for free, and gave pairing recommendations for it. The sauces are AMAZING - the Pablo's is FIERY hot, but with amazing depth of flavor; the Queen Majesty is way less scalding, but with all kinds of richness, and the Pirate's Lantern is something I'll be drowning my brisket in. Great, great company to order from.

I used to hate that Da Bomb was in the lineup, but I think I get it now. Da Bomb is sort of the key to the whole show. It's a kick in the mouth in a way that the other sauces aren't. It's not the hottest sauce, but it's the most unpleasent, and that makes it the low point in the journey. That helps the last two wings to feel like a triumph instead of an even more difficult challenge, and that sense of personal victory helps the victims to finally drop their guard and be totally open. Sorry, I meant guests.

I'm a huge fan of Original Juan and all their labels, hot sauces, ghost pepper peanuts, etc. I haven't had Da Bomb Beyond Insanity sauce on the show, but I have created a wonderful sauce out of two of their other salsas. I use one jar of Da Bomb ghost pepper salsa (too hot for me by itself) and blend in two jars of their Pain Is Good Jamaican pineapple salsa (smokey and sweet, just not nearly enough heat), adding some serious crushed garlic, and then I have 3 wonderful jars of salsa, as hot as I can stand it, sweet and flavorful. Try it, you'll like it, and please report your findings back here?

Sean should have different hot sauce packages for the guests to choose from. Like a Beginner, Intermediate, Expert level so guests can come back and get a different experience if they choose. After watching YG breeze through it I felt that he could've gone to another level. It'll also give the audience a different experience watching Sean go through different sauces. Man, you are speaking my language. I understand exactly where you are coming from. From a guy who eats bacon and tomato, Ghost pepper and habenero sandwiches. nothing soothes the mouth better than a little water, just to take the edge off. I don't want to kill the heat, I like it. But when it gets too intense, I sip on water. Generally the heat only last 10 mins or so, in the mouth. I also agree with how the synthetic bitterness of mad dog makes it a hard to stomach. when i brought it home, my friend and I put six hard shakes on a plate of rice. 3 hours later we fought belly cramps that felt like a rat burrowing out of our stomachs, then our bodies both rejected the sauce. if you think eating is bad, barfing it back up is ten times worse. And if that was all we had to endure that would have been okay, we had 2 days of belly aches and cramps. we over did it by a lot... LoL. but we entered a new level of tolerance, almost like a torture right of passage. it's good to see others have reached the same level. Keep up the good work.

Pick at least 4. Most all sound better than the current line up. Banana from Vermont and the Hawaiian one sound tasty. The one with the bull just seems to belong on a show where you are eating HOT wings. And most of the names just sound better than "Excruciating Torture Death Humper 5 Zillion" type names that current lineup has. The best move you can make is change up that line up. I'm excited to see that. There would certainly be some new reactions, especially to banana. Great flavor combos in so many of those. You should change half of your line up. Delicious and devilish.
