You guys don't get it. As a black woman in my 40s that listens to R n B, loves rock, and used to play guitar ( not as good as Tea), these kids are far beyond garage band. Edith's singing chops are extraordinary, especially acapella and she would excel as a singer rin any genre. of music. He called her voice unique, but she's actually good, better than 99% of female singers iin any genre in her age group today. For example, on voice chops alone, she's killing Tyla and Camila Cabello. Tea's guitar skills are spot on. I don't know much about drums,. but these kids are actually talented and it makes sense. For them to excel in their genre, they had to be better than most. I hope they give themsevles credit.

Ok honest hour, I've never really felt like the punk pop scene was super meant for me as 1. A female and 2. As a person of color. But seeing bands like Meet Me @ The Alter has made me feel so much more represented and included. I'll always support them and keep cheering for them because not only is their music great but they are helping to bridge the gap for more inclusiveness in the punk pop genre. Love you guys!
