The Director asked Valeria Galino if she had any special talents and she told him about the olive from her belly button, so he decided to put that in. When you watch Hot Shots Part Deux make sure you watch the making of it. I think that is as funny as the movie.The directors daughter narrates it while shooting the filming of it.
