15:30 TRIVIA! Peter Crushing plays the Swedish bookstore owner. To make the 'big eye' joke they had to take a cast of this face. This movie was one of the last movies he made and close to his appearance in Star Wars A New Hope as Grand Moff Tarkin. Jump forward some 40 years. To recreate Grand Moff Tarkin in Rogue One the film makers tracked down that cast and scanned it to recreate Peter Crushing's face digitally. This might be my favourite of the spoof movies but it definitely has the best visual gags and that backwards scene is brilliant.

Val Kilmer played Jim Morrison in Oliver Stone's "The Doors." He was actually really good at imitating Jim Morrison's voice so he actually sang for closeups.

I kept thinking of that scene in _Holy Grail,_ “Oh, go and get a glass of water!” 😄

The Nigel / Desert Island Story is a parody of the Blue Lagoon. The car that blew up by tapping the fender was a Ford Pinto, which was famous for exploding gas tanks.

Interesting Fact: Since Peter Cushing had died in 1994, and they needed his likeness for 2016's Star Wars: Rogue One movie, they were trying to think of a way to get a digital map using 2D film when somebody remembered they'd made a head mould so they could cast the prosthetic to do the scene in Top Secret (his third last movie, BTW). After a lot of hunting they finally found it, dug it out of storage, and laser scanned the inside to get a perfect digital model of his face they could then map over the features of the body actor playing his role.

I consider the hiccups my personal nemesis agree with the comparison to Airplane both play it pretty straight with most jokes being visual gags and clever puns
