I'm the complete opposite when it comes to oracle decks! I love it when there is just an image of one symbol or archetype per card and a title stating exactly what it is. I despise keywords, I feel like they're directing the way I read the card. I like reading this kind of simple imagery intuitively.

I really like my 1st edition of the Titanic Tarot and opted for all the cool extras just to add it as an awesome collectors deck. I will still be backing this 2nd edition due to the pips being a lot better and fitting the overall theme and story of the Titanic in my opinion.

I am SO excited for my KS deck of Embroidered Graveyard to ship any day now. Even the book is beyond gorgeous. I was actually lucky enough to pledge for one of the original Embroidered hoops from the deck, that were photographed to make the cards. 🦄 We already have a Tea oracle, the Tea Leaf Fortune Cards. 😊 Definitely different from the one in this video though. My husband is backing the Titanic deck. He has a special interest in the history of the Titanic. This deck is right up his alley. Familiar Field is coming out mass market, from what I've seen. I'm going to be getting the mass market edition. I'll probably get the Prairie Majesty Oracle mass market. The Objective Oracle is tempting. I'm gonna have to think about that one. I added a few others of these to my want list for the future. My ever growing list... 😊

I have The Cosmic C*no Tarot. It is a favorite. The colour is chartreuse not yellow and it is smaller than a regular deck. I love the humor but it's also a great reading deck.

🦄 There are so many tempting decks this month. Before seeing your hot take I had already backed source tarot and am surprised too it doesn’t have more support 😔. I gave my love to the objective Oracle and added on a crochet back to help the funding. Hey, Lisa regarding the Divine Tea deck : an umbel is a flower cluster that the flower grow from.. Black pepper "activates" turmeric so I imagine that's why it is included in the turmeric tea blend. I cannot recommend pine needle tea enough. It is delicious (when made correctly!) and is chock full of antioxidants, Vitamin A, Vitamin C etc and therefore highly anti-inflammatory. Here in New England it is one of the only green things I can harvest in the winter. I use White Pine (Pines strobus) . A delightful healthful tea! Not sure what pine would be growing around you. If you do decide to gather and make pine needle tea, just make sure you have identified the tree properly. Also I hear you on afternoon tea! Basically we need a trip to the British Isles for a good one!!! Great video. Lots of fun! And thank you so much for including one of all time favorite oracles The Soul Flower Deck..... in case you can't tell, i'm a plant person!!!! LOL Mel Brown created the Aboriginal Dreamtime Oracle and Saltwater Reading Cards. Katey Flowers talks about these decks a lot.They are really beautiful!

Really love this video. I agree that 36 card decks and the smaller ones put me off buying. There isn't enough variation in card meanings for me which means I wont work with the deck longterm. I am seeing a lot of these coming from Rockpool for some reason.

Comment on the shadow work deck: when I started doing shadow work, I wrote out a list of words, cut them into strips, and out them in a container (they live in a cleaned out peanut butter jar)... so I would draw one and do my card draw. (I actually just ended up working with the forst one I drew for a long time). I just easily made a list of concepts and they filled a page. (Sadness, abuse, trauma, guilt, shame, sadism, helpless, bully, etc) My idea was to really explore those concepts... like at the time I was pretty much unable to identify my emotions, so I kind of thought to do it "backwards." Instead of "am I angry?" It was "what am I angry about?" Same with all the keywords. Not, "does this make me feel shame," but "let's look around and find out where my shame is and what it's around." With the tarot cards to point me in the right direction. For me, I definitly didn't/don't need extra key words... I guess I can see a use for those cards. There is something I like about it, maybe it's just the concept. For me, I'd have to change the way I currently work with my strips to make this work. Idk.. I guess I'm intrigued but I really think I prefer my simple method.

So the designs for The Source Tarot uses real photographs but not of famous people! I took it through a graphic design process and all of the main figures are turned into a newspaper print effect. The idea has to do with where we get our information and the idea of energy (source) dispersion.

Thank you for this video! I will now be adding Ocean Dreams Oracle to my collection. Other decks I have previously backed/pre-ordered include the Familiar Field Oracle (it will be nice to pair it with the sister tarot), Mindscape Tarot (I don't own any majors only decks and could see using it for meditation and magickal practice. I mean look at that artwork 👀, though I understand the price consideration), Southern Botanic Oracle (I have have Gothic deck so why not this one too), and Woodland Wardens (super excited for this one and ty for the idea of pairing it with the Oak Ash & Thorn). I may purchase the Daily Rituals Oracle but will probably wait until I can see a flip through and sample of the guidebook. The insane thing is I am in the process of purging a good chunk of my tarot & oracle collection, just to add more (more decks than I've listed here). 🤦🏾‍♀️ I think I'm doing a better job at selecting decks and not on impulse, at least I hope so. And omgsh the mass market decks are soooooo good atmo. Some I would like aren't available in the UK for a few more months so I can hopefully plan for those and not stretch the budget too much 😂 and... The Pug Tarot!
