My favorite bike from this bit probably is Lael Wilcox' world rounder bike or Bottas' still dirt covered bike. Most folks' bikes have dirt on 'em or road grime so it is fun to see that sort of thing I think.

Laels cockpit is also a custom made prototype (the Ruckus portion) to hold her tech. Tires got changed multiple times--I want to say she had 35s on at one point.

Yes, but the sunny side is that cheap bikes (1000-2000) are also becoming increasingly better. For example 10-15 years ago cheap groupsets were genuinely horrible, now they're great. The expensive stuff just gets more expensive because in order to keep innovating they are having to do increasingly complex things.

It really is crazy that we have things like aero-bras now as “reach-arounds” to the sillier UCI rules. In affect it makes cycling look dafter and less accessible to your average person, probably the opposite to what the UCI are trying to achieve

I always said internal structures in frame tubes would be really cool and useful unlike most new tech. The problem is while the performance is there it would be super expensive and tough to produce. Most new tech lack performance but it's easily produced but doesn't lack expense. Anyway it's nice to see my idea on handle bars at least.

Rouler is not pronounced "ruler". The "eu" is the sound that you use in English too, you just write it differently. Like the i in bird, the o in word, the ea in heard the u in burden. (why do you use so many differet ways to write the same sound? :-)
