❤ you such a big guy and so intelligent. I keep wondering why you. Eat blood .I am going to share this with you. Because I want you to be healthy Leviticus 17:10-14 (KJV) And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people. For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood. And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust. For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.

This is so relaxing and gives me ideas on how to survive South African 🇿🇦 electricity loadshedding. Like now every 4 hours it's lights off for 2 hours and the larney's are now thinking of Stage 8-9...lights off every 2 hours for 2 hours. Like Eishkom! You guys are more lit up than us. Honestly you do ease the stress and we may have to use your way of life to survive...hehe! Your camp setup is cool and you're enjoying it. Have many more camps 🏕 and share them with us. Cheers 🍻 and I really mean enjoy.

Load shedding power, not something I have heard much about... had a power outage due to a wind storm for about 2 and a half days... I have a photovoltaic power hobby that was handy.... power stations I can charge with panels and do as I can with the overcast in the Puget Sound region of Washington state (clouds and mountains)... I can use the power stations with mains power... I have experimented with electric cooking with power stations and did a meal during the outage using an induction cooker with wattage turned to minimum (600 watts) , I Also have lunch box cookers from Japan (Itaki) that can run on 200 watts and cook small meals for 1-2 people... I could do camp stoves or firepits easy enough... but the power stations could be used to shift power for limited use when mains are off... induction cookers and lunch box cookers can work for cooking at lower power requirements and the lower the wattage requirements the smaller the power station required and the faster charging with or without solar panels... for charging... I don't have wood shortages here... the sun here is limited at times... but our mains are on most of the time, most of the year. I can use solar cooking or wood cooking during rare outages. Just suggesting an idea to make the power shedding easier to deal with.
@denisefoxcroft8920 Жыл бұрын
I know that feeling. It creeps me out. Money is scarce and things like solar are just dreams to many. Summer is bearable, but Winter's creeping up. Do the CEO's of Eskom even have the temerity to accept their enormous, totally undeserved salaries. If my fridge packs up, that's it! As a pensioner I cannot afford a new one, and I'm not alone! My friend used to say " 'n boer maak 'n plan, maar jislike, planne raak skaars met Eishkom".

You and Owen did a good comparison video of the two tipi tents and the two models of Pomoly stove. I would have liked you to film a few more details about how the Pomoly oven worked to finish the chips: the heat transfer seemed to be between more layers of metal than happens with a top that has a hole for direct access to the stove's fire. As you are transporting equipment in the pickup truck, why not bring along a windscreen to reflect heat back onto you?
