Appreciated the M1941 tent/shelter heater for decades..in wood burning mode mostly ..started out with G.P. smalls and tried several others...ended up making my own custom tents with screen walls, windows and the stove jack near the peak for better heat distribution...always enjoy your vids

I remember those! Didn't do much in a GP Medium without the winter liner but it was great to huddle around!

Hello Brother John from Auckland, New Zealand. I’ve gone walk about from South Texas. That stew sounds delicious and I might try it when we return home. Thank you for the recipe. Blessings, David.

Very interesting, Brother John! As someone who is part Scot, I can certainly appreciate this meal, and the simplicity is just awesome for a woods meal, too. What's not to love, except I've yet to try a parsnip before? Something to look forward to... Oh, and when lacking a Guinness, there's always Mickey's Big Mouth. That's a beer we often took into the woods with us back in my drinking days. Enjoy the heck out of that tent, John. It's a thing of envy from this Southern guy who rarely sees any real cold! ~ Cheers!

A side of Colcannon, soda bread and a Guiness would have mad it a meal.

@@boonedockery7220 I would have a Harp...or two. The new Guinness tall cans with the nitrogen capsule in them lift things to a higher level these days! The beverage is creamy and much lighter on the palate.
