Next time I’m out I’m going to be using my small rechargeable fan. And mount it at the peak and have it blow downward. It will blow the heat down and help with the condensation around the bottom. Great video my friend.

Great vid once again Kev. What I am learning is that basically you have to feed the stove every 90 minutes to keep the tent warm… which kinda ruins your sleep . Just saying… Lime the idea for the zipper !

It definitely wouldn't be good for sleep!

Nice video, always been curious about one of these tents. You might get a longer duration of heat if you try adding some thermal mass to the stove (not sure how much weight it would take on top, but maybe you could stack bricks etc beside). This winter we added a metal bucket with 50 lbs of sand on top of the woodstove in our home and it will absorb then trickle out the heat for many hours after the fire dies out.

These small soves wouldn't take a heavy weight but this is very interesting idea.

First utility is to be able to dry clothes and boots, that is why a tipi tent pole is really useful for ropes or hooks for hanging... mandatory when off-road traveling 😊 easily cook too. Using it as night heater is a no way, even refilling every 90min. Anything can happen, even short on wood, so good r value and sleep bag are still mandatory. So all evening being super warm with fire is enough ;)

Staying dry is definitely a priority and pole hooks are great!
