HOT TENT Winter Camping in Snow - Warm & Cozy Inside with wood stove

Winter camping in a hot tent warm and cozy. We had some fresh snow fall a few days and tonight I’m cooking hamburgers on the wood stove. The temperatures dipped below freezing but I was still warm in the hot tent.

Hey Joshua, try putting a military surplus poncho over your sleeping bag at night. It will keep the frost from compromising the bag's insulation. I about froze to death while camped out inn a micro bus on the ALCAN in '74. Lesson learned

Just been out in my stove hut 70 mk1 the ground sheet is terrible but I just put a ground sheet down I love the tent plenty room it's also great for summer camping the stove area is great place to put your backpack atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍

Great video, especially the ribbing you gave Maritimer lol. Were your temps in C or F? Guessing C, because -5C is 23F, which looked about right for what you were in. If you want to up your burger game, put a fried egg on it. Seriously. It's a delicious addition, especially keeping it simple with a good cheddar slice and bacon... kind of like a breakfast sandwich with two meats (beef and bacon). Things are good here... might get out again in December, and, I already have a week planned in January.
