I bought the exact same stove for 28 quid from temu and was blown away at how good it was when it arrived. I've since bought fire cement to secure the glass panel because on mine it rattled , fire rope strips to seal the door better, 4 new bits of flue pipe plus a damper pipe, a stove jack for my man-cave and a spark arrestor. All in it's cost around 120 quid. For the money i paid it's outstanding now... Zero negative things to say about it and my man-cave doors don't stay closed for long, i want a man-cave not a sauna...

Thank you for sharing your expertise with us. I ordered a larger 14" stove with an ash drawer on Temu for $90 in late November, said it would be delivered via FedEx by December 10, 2024. I am a homeless whistle-blower living in a tent in Vermont winters. I needed to stove for my new shelter. I kept checking the tracking, said the label was printed but as of Dec 9 hadn't been dropped off at FedEx so I canceled my order & got a refund. Welp, AI runs the site and got a banged up stove December 23! 😂😂😂 Something slammed the box, with the stove surrounded by foam, during shipping hard enough to bend the handle on the ash tray. And a section on the leg. I got it somewhat fixed with pliers. No way to send it back. No way to contact a human & request a return label. They should hire humans! Anyway, I am going to do a test burn & I will try to film it. Our subzero -10° temps shut down phones & fingers. I will have to make short videos of the initial burn. Thanks for the schooling on the stove 👍🏽 Subscribed

I still don't get the idea behind that scratching flint to make a spark to light your fire, when It is so much smarter just carrying a good ol' Zippo or Bic lighter! I quit smoking years ago but still carry my trusty Bic lighter for shrink wrapping wires and of course, starting fires!
@hampshireoutdoorsandsurviv934012 күн бұрын
i agree with you but its good fun to learn how our ancestors managed and my normal go to is a bic style lighter always

Brilliant why pay more? If you don’t have to? it will probably do the same job as a £600 stove, how long it will last just have to see. these days you can easily spend the whole weeks wages on a bit of gear, but in reality, do you need to ,it’s so easy to get sucked into something you think the best and often you’re just paying for the name a status symbol ,Done it myself😊 have fun
