I live in northwest Saskatchewan Canada and my chicken coop is cool to say the least often even the eggs will freeze if I don't get after them I keep around 50 hands throughout the winter with some roosters mixed in and what I use is I bought a $5 slow cooker at a second hand store that I fill with water plug it in and for $5 I have a chicken water that does not freeze I feel it twice a day and everything is fine
