As a heads up, we’ll alert you all when the Tool Box video is live for our members when it’s ready. This one already took a lot of time to put together, but we don’t want to lead anyone into thinking the video is up just yet.

The way you romanticize this hobby makes me feel like I need to be approaching it with more care and intentionality. As always, love the video!

As long as you tackle your enjoyment of the hobby the way you'd like, I think that's what's important. Even if you end up going my route. 😄 Thank you for commenting & watching! 🙏🏻

@@BostonCollectors If you don't mind me asking, do you store any extra figure bodies? If so how? My goal is to get rid of the boxes so I can have more space but when I move I worry where I can store the bodies safely.

Love that case for the head sculpts!! I have a similar baggie routine as well although I need to get me one of those little label printers!! Great video mate 👊🏻
@BostonCollectors3 ай бұрын
Nice! I'd be curious to see how you store your things. I might learn something from it as well! The label printer's been a huge addition to the process. Even better, they peel off in the event you move a figure along to reuse the baggies. Recycling at it's finest. Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻

As always, another stellar video. I respect how much care you put into your figures, even with just storage. that Gun Primer actually looks like a premium product that works. I’m definitely interested.
@BostonCollectors3 ай бұрын
Appreciate you, thank you. 🙏🏻 Considering the amount of money we spend on our figures, it's equally as important to store our accessories and portraits in the right manner. It was bound to happen this way, at least for me. The GunPrimer solution is pretty decent, I can't lie. My desk figure Anakin looks a lot better and makes the one in the display appear extremely dull. Although, I'd probably pass using it on the DS Anakin portrait and hands. The pale look to the skin is too good to mess up. Anyway, thanks for watching man and I appreciate you commenting as always! 🙏🏻

All I can say is thank you again. You continually turn out the highest quality, informative, and entertaining videos on KZbin! I know you're doing a future video on your lighting, which is amazing, by the way. I was just wondering what brand strip box and Octa you are using in the video? I paused it several times, but couldn't get any clues. Thank you again for all you do for this Community.

Not a problem, Douglas! We try our best to keep a consistent feel to our material and provide the best content we can while making it worth your time. Just happy to help where we can. Ah, those clips were from previous uploads we have for channel members. But the lights I use are rather dated. I’ve had them for 3 years now and I’m due for an upgrade. Those are the Godox SL-60W lights. The soft box is the 32”x32” / 80x80 centimeters Neewer Octa design. Hope this helps, and thank you for taking the time out of your day to watch our video. 😄🙏🏼

Suuuper satisfying video! Love husky as a brand. They made Rick Grimes’ illusive blue “axe-holder” in reality a (mobile pocket) on his duty belt from seasons 6-8

Very interesting and informative video, Boston. I've ordered so many loose parts over the years, I have those tiny zip loc baggies - in many sizes - coming out of my asterick. (that's not a joke) 🤨
@BostonCollectors3 ай бұрын
Thank you! All of my loose parts that I've ordered over the last few years have their own dedicated container. I think that showed me I should also slow down, lol! As long as it's coming out of your asterick and not the other side. 🗿

Thank you, thank you! That's great to hear! If anything, you may find a better storage container to fit your situation versus a tool organizer. Other than that, that rest of it is pretty flexible depending on the things you collect. Thank you for taking the time out to watch! If you have any questions feel free to ask. Appreciate you! 🙏🏻

I wouldn't be scared to use foam. It shouldn't bleed onto portraits. It could rub the paint off but you would need to throw this box around a lot to do that. These heads are safe :D cheers!
@BostonCollectors3 ай бұрын
It was a recommendation from a Reddit comment, and it made a lot of sense. Even though I've had them in months prior, it never did bleed into them. I have another case for my Marvel portraits without the plastic and it didn't mess anything up on them at all. It's been over a year now too. Anyway, thanks for watching and thank you for sharing your opinion! 🙏🏻😄

Hello, First of all, I would like to thank you, I already started to buy toolboxes, plastic bags and all and I am sure it would be a great help. I have one question tough, how do you store the helmet, do you put them in the portraits case or in one accessories toolbox. In all cases, great thanks for all your content, it really help a lot for collecting.

Perfect timing! I'm having this issue as well. Before I make a big decision like throwing out my art boxes, I'd like to know all of the systems I have in place work first. Once I find a better way to store my bases, the art boxes are out of here. I have a closet FULL of just art boxes taking up space for no reason. Hopefully this helps and feel free to ask any questions you might have later. Thanks for watching! 😄

Great video. As a new collector of one sixth figures, this was super helpful. I'm curious-- if you are ditching the art boxes, what is your storage solution for figures that are no longer displayed? I'd like to toss most of my art boxes, but I just don't know how to go about storing figures once their taken off display. Thanks, and just subbed to see more of your videos!

If you’re collecting Star Wars Hot Toys, I used the Home Depot Large storage boxes for them. I also threw out the shippers, but I kept the plastic bag around the art boxes. Too many of them around though, but the best method I could find.
